One card, four challenges. Quite pleased with this one, even though there's always room for improvement. So the challenges are first of all Funky Fairys Challenge 4 'swirls', Spoonful of Sugar 'shape shifters', any shape aprt from the norm square, ABC 'child', and Cute Card Thursday 'animal magic'. So here it goes, hand cut round card, the paper is from Funky Fairy Inspiration free downloads, beautiful girl image is Pink Gems 'fairy mimi' w/coloured with Koi's, birds are from there as well but another stamp 'little gem with robins' I think it is called, sentiment is from Craft Companions girls stamp sheet, small stones added and some pink micro fine glitter for sparkle, ribbon from stash, her little tiara is stamped again and placed with foam pads. Hope you like, bye for now.
Thanks for visiting, browse around and I hope you find some inspiration!

Another post for today, as this one is completed. This time for Sketch Saturday challenge and Penny Black Saturday challenge which is a 'get well' creation. As you can see I do possess peel-offs and lots of them too! They aren't seen on too many crafters blogs and i thought for a change i would put one! Not sure what the image is called, w/coloured with Koi's, glam dust, gold padded flower with blue gem in center and several little daisy's with small punch. Hope you like, bye for now.
My entry for Friday Sketchers challenge. I've used this stamp from Toodles and Binks and still loving it as it would do for a background scene or even mothers day coming up. It's heat embossed and because I used actual black embossing powder that didn't all brush off there is a happy mistake on this one but to me it looks like dust blowing around so I decided to use it, trunk is Copics brown E29, gel pen for hearts, fiskars decorative scissors for corners, candy flosss zooms from Toodles and Binks too, pearlescent gold paper and DCWV papers, sentiment heat embossed with stamp from See D's, and a little string throught it. Hope all is well everywhere, that's it for now.

My creation for Kaboodle Doodles challenge 2 'sketch' (I've rotated it, hope it's acceptable) was made in no time really, as the papers I've used are their own range 'Christmas Funky kit' that I'd printed out to make another card and still had some left over. Is this mothers day card too funky and too sweet? There's alot of mothers out there with a sweet tooth and they wouldn't say not to this... I love their downloads and i tend to mix and match with other downloads as this one is because the image is from Pink Petticoat, their new and latest one called 'Sundaes'. There 's so much in that kit that I've not gone through all of it yet. All of them are so pretty needless to say. So image is coloured with copics YG06 green, RV04 pink and some pale blue chalking and glam dust added, sentiment comes with it, lifted with foam pads, ribbon from stash, flower cuttlebugged and tried to distress it, curled it up and a little sentiment stamped with Studio G stamp. The card is also edged with glam dust all the way round. this is my second spotty creation in a row, I promise the next one won't be, so whatever you're all doing today, have a good day, bye for now!

Card,Carton and Cute all in one. Three challenges I would like to enter these into, Funky Fairys Challenge 4 which is to 'make a milk carton'. The template is provided and this is my very first one ever made using my win Seeing Dots Vol1 and some freebie Doodlementals. Thoroughly enjoyed making this but got stuck putting it together at the end with the wingy bits that bend inwards so my trusted daughter gave me a hand.
Cute Card Thursday would like something that reminds you of Spring, so I've fulfilled that one,
A Spoonfull of Sugar is a sketch this week by Debbie. Brilliant one to work with. I did a bit of masking on the bunny to lay down the grass for it. Stamps are from the See D's range, the text ones are from small Studio G stamps. Thanks for looking. Hope everyone is enjoying today, and the rest of the weekend, it's so sunny here!

My entry for Sketch Saturday and I nearly didn't make it. The standards are very high on the team but I like to exceed my limit now and again and have a go. This was a fantastic one to work with and is the entry to ABC challenge this week which is 'brown and blue' colour combo. Well I think my blue is very bright and I like it. The base is own stash, brown from Summer Driggs downloads, hand cut scallop, image is w/coloured 'milli with chicks' from Pink Gem designs and they have more out on release( I will sit on my hands so they don't walk to my purse). Round text I've heat embossed stamped with Melissa Frances journalling stamp and hand written in white, brown chalking in the top left is Stempelglede Grunge stamp, MS doily lace punch, heart charm is from my daughters trendy belt which fell apart and I kept all the charms on it, brown fibre to create a little bow, bit of faux stitching and doodling, blue sequins added to finish! Hope you like my take on both challenges. Bye for now.

This is quite unusual for me to post in the evening, I do try to post in the morning but I've been a bit busy with making these lovely pouches. Look how beautiful they would be placed in a large wicker basket, say about twenty odd to give away at a party. That is what I've been doing preparing for a 21st party with the help of my very crafty 14 year old daughter who has time as it's half term here. She loves to take part and comes up with some brilliant ideas to help me. So the paper is from Pink Petticoat 'Sundaes' download and so is the template for the pouch which was so handy as I was on the look out for something quick and easy. Thanks Liz for the tutorial on that! There is a competition running at Pink Petticoat blog to make these and enter into. I've used pink and red copics on this but can't remember which ones and I'm now so far away for me to go and look.Ribbon is from stash and there is chalking on this a glam dust too. This is my entry for Papertake Weekly which is 'Perfect Matches', to make something like card & tag or carton and tag etc. So I thoroughly enjoyed making these two items, thanks for looking and have a go youreslf, they're so easy!

What a mild day it is today, considering all the snow we've been having, and I just can't wait for the warmer weather to come. Hope all is well everywhere else and that time was well spent with loved ones over the weekend. I've had this image stamped out and ready waiting to be made into a creation. Well here it is and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out, the image and sentiment is ofcourse Toodles and Binks which I won the other week and absolutely love it, you can buy it here. This will do very nice for a new home card with a nice sentiment inside. I've used two of my copics on it. The red brad and beige flower is from Juliets candy and the big red satin flower is from a QVC kit and the red stones in the corners are from Josey Rose Boutique. Hope you like, and enjoy a beautiful day!

Hi, hope everyone is ok and today looking at my counter couldn't believe it's over 3,500 since June 2008. I was able to get to 1,000 in November ( a big milestone for me) and just want to thank those people in blogland who visit me now and again, and there will be candy on its way sometime. So this creation is for
Magnolia meets Stampavie challenge 13 ' sketch time'. Papers are all Funky Fairy Inspirations downloads, MS doily lace punch used, image is 'my sweet lili' from Sarah Kay and sentiment is handwritten! Have a good Valentines Day if you're celebrating and thanks so much for looking.

Hi all, hope everyone is well and stamping away. My creation today is for several challenges and I just couldn't wait to use this lovely stamp called ' grow a little love', from Toodles and Binks and what a gorgeous image it is with so much to do with it, i can see a nice 'new home' card made from it too and not just valentines. So this is my take on the sketch for Sketch Saturday #37 and combined it with A Spoonfull of Sugar #38 ' doodle doo' and also the Funky Fairy Challenge Blog #3 which is to use 'faux stitching'. All the papers are from FF except the brown which is freebie from Summer Driggs downloads, image w/coloured and the hearts are copics RV 04 and then Anita's 3D gloss applied, doodling on the circle, brown chalking to edges, white sakura gel pen used too. Sentiment is so apt, it comes with the stamp, bit of glam dust and I couldn't but resist putting on the candyfloss zooms as they were sent with the stamp. So I hope I've inspired someone a tiny bit, thanks for taking the time to look.
Thankyou
This arrived last week from Toodles and Binks, and yes it was candy... for answering a question on their blog. So some ladies like me were sent a stamp and I really didn't expect the Candyfloss Zooms as well! So a big THANKYOU! They have an excellent selection of stamps and the pretty pink packaging is way too good. I've had a play with this and it stamps so well with a perfect image everytime, so less room for mistakes. This is where you can buy them here, and again thanks Toodles and Binks, my creation is on its way!

I really wanted to try this sketch, and this card was made days ago along with another card but being under the weather was unable to put it on earlier. This one is for Friday Sketchers # 38 and thoroughly enjoyed making it! The papers are from Funky Fairy Inspirations downloads, Martha Stewart doily lace punch, the flower I've tried to curl upwards and lifted with 3D foam and little poodle stamps are from Crafters Companion 'girls' stamp, the sentiment is cheap tesco's stamp.Circle is hand cut with scissors, watercolouring on the images, glam dust added and 3 flat gems to finish! Thanks for looking and have a brilliant day!

A card for no reason, no challenge but just because I wanted to. A good snowy monday morning it is and it's best to stay indoors, I think! Well you must be wondering what's up? Last week I saw a show on
Create & Craft about the Cuttlebug and what you could do with acetate, and what the effect would be, since I had received my new embossing folder( swiss dots) as part of a birthday spend at Tracy's, I couldn't resist but have a go as I had so many ideas going on in my head, sometimes I think i have to carry a notebook with me at all times. ( my family think I've gone mad)!!! So here it is, just not had the right opportunity to put it on here. So the most beautiful unicorn stamp is from Crafters Companion and is just adorable and can see so many possibilities for childrens cards. There's so many others on the sheet and good value for money at £9.99. Any way it's w/coloured, glam dust added, edged with red ink, silver gems as part of a candy, layered on to some paper which was from a candy and says on it 'stampin up' sample pad, fiskars decor scissors used for corners, text stamp is part of same sheet as are the flowers. The ribbon gave a cold snowy feel and I found it in my stash!

Hi, it's the weekend and I wanted to say how excited I was on wednesday to find out I had won the first challenge of Funky Fairys Challenge blog. Never did I think I had a chance, just went in with crossed fingers and toes that anyone would like my creation which is here
but now I have another for the same challenge which is challenge #2 'dots and ribbons'. The papers are from their free downloads and seem to fit perfectly, even used my new CB swiss dots folder to really make it dotty. I bought it from Tracy. Image is 'mimi with chicks' from Pink Gem Designs, sentiment is from See D's range and I've also dangled a little charm onto some silver tie thingy(I don't know what you call them) and would like this creation to go for the Cute Card Thursday challenge 'metallica' which is to use anything metal on your creation. Job done ...I think. Hope everyone is well, thanks for looking and I appreciate any comments left here.

Cold, cold, snowy day. I just hope these little animals are hibernating as they should be and what a beautiful cloak of white to see outside my window as I'm writing this. Onto my creation today is for the Kaboodle Doodles challenge 'love' theme. I've used their papers pink and blue range and they print out perfectly on the 120gsm Tesco paper. The other challenge I've combined this with is the
Penny Black Friends Saturday challenge which is to use one of their stamps and make a 'round' card. So handcut round with scallop scissors, image was sent to me so don't know what it's called, w/coloured, foam square added to back and stuck side with double-sided tape to create a 3D hedgehog, silver glue added to heart, sequins, gems and small remnants of ribbon knotted and stuck on, sentiment is foam stamp from QVC kit and I've cut into heart shape and doodled around. Pretty ribbon from stash which is running in different shades, not sure I bought it like that or if it's been in a sunny spot and turned shady - but I like it! Thanks for looking today and stay warm wherever you are!

This creation is made from the Funky Fairies Inspirations 'love train' blog hop yesterday and as usual I just couldn't wait to select some papers, print them off and make this. Papers are from carriage number 4,5 and 8 is the image which is w/coloured with my Koi's and silver glue gel, there's machine stitching in black, Martha Stewart doily lace punch again, white sakura gel pen for doodling, black card, buttons, raffia, gems from stash, faux black pen zig-zag, and the sentiment is from computer 'rickles' font cut by hand in heart shape and there's red ink edging on parts. I think that is it... i would like to enter this for Friday Sketchers challenge 37 and Papertake Weekly which is to use hearts or flowers or both so mine qualifies I think with that one heart at the top. Thanks for looking and taking the time to read this.

A freezing morning it is today and there's snow! Quite a bit and still coming down so i thought I would show a small creation with no challenge attached for a change! This is part of my spend at Pink Gem Designs and called 'cat with cuppa' and today of all days this is what I'm doing - staying warm. This is the left over slice of card from the one i did last week for a challenge. Half of A4 cut lengthways, and not quite meeting it edge to edge, the green from QVC kit is stitched with zig-zag, pricked, blue is from Kaboodle Doodles kit blue range download, punched with Debbie Moore 'fireworks' punch, image w/coloured, handcut scallop, edged with silver ink pad and flower stamped again and lifted with foam pads, i managed to get the colour mixed just right for that pansy I think it is, bit of silver glue, ribbon from QVC kit, sentiment printed off computer using 'rickles' font, w/coloured it and doodled around. I don't have many creations that would go for male themes but this one I could get away with... i think! Thanks for looking, and have a great day wherever you are snow or sunshine!
