Before I tell you about my card I must (slapped wrist) say a big thankyou to my recent followers, many thanks..I hope you like what you see ;))))  So onto my creation which is using 'Emma's shoes' from LOTV, coloured with Promarkers and distressed after with Walnut Stain distress ink, plaid backing is digi freebie from Far Far Hill, left strip is from Nikky's Polka Doodle cd (a scrap piece) which I thought went very well, attached some seam binding ribbon from Crafty Ribbons with a heart charm.Sentiment is one of LOTV's sentiment sets..absolutely adore these grungy messages! Some Glamour Dust to finish.

Hi, hope you're still getting a bit of warmth from what's left of summer. Gloriously warm here although the mist and fog has took its time to lift. I'm sorry my creations have been very scarce but I've managed to come up with a very simple one. Image is pre-coloured from Ching-Chou Kuik I won from one of the challenges that are no more. Gorgeous images which are on a sheet that you print out..you just cut out all the components and decoupage away. Very therapeutic if you're sitting for long periods and can occupy your time well! I just love the peacock feather embellishment in her hair and overall not the usual girly colours one would expect.

Hello fellow crafters! Today my card is for a male using 'turntable Josh' from the fab Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps, coloured with Promarkers, used my cuttlebug for dry embossing, die cut '4 u' using Baby Face dies, circle sentiment firstly dry embossed and then stamped sentiment in clear Versafine ink and heat embossed with black embossing powder. I should use this technique more often as I've a lot of embossing powders (I just hope they don't have a 'use by' date). Strip of digi paper across, turntable decoupaged, white pen used for stitching.

Hi blogland, sorry there's not been much creativity around here, when life throws unexpected sad news at you, it makes you stand back and evaluate your own life..sometimes you're not even directly related to that person but somehow they have a profound effect on you..modest, humble, kind, honest, looking out for others and their health issues just to name a few. Truly one of a kind which there are only a few left  in this world I'm sure and I feel very honoured to have met her. 

So, now...my card is yet another bookmark (chunky at that) for someone in my life who has done incredibly well and going onto better things in her own life. Used some more of that Crafts Beautiful d/load paper, Alice from Saturated Canary coloured with Promarkers, embossed round sentiment and back paper,  lace, ribbon and more intricate lace detail which mocks a kind of bunting effect, layering butterfly punch from EK Success, top left die cuts from Marianne Creatables, navy ribbon to finish! Oh I used Anita's gloss to put a plastic shine on her petticoat, hope you can see it. I've enjoyed creating this one too as the last few were gratefully received.

Afternoon all! We're having a second summer by the look of things...it is so, so, hot!!! But there's always a 'but' as this will all change come Friday I believe. My card features an adorable LOTV image 'doggie delight'. Isn't it the most fab illustration for dog lovers? I just love it so much..even though I don't have any pets. Used some old digi papers I dug out, brown backing behind image is made with a Promarker, image is coloured with them too. Fab tag stamp, scroll, and lovely sentiments from Nutcrafters, faux stitching and pearls to finish. I purposely kept the colouring very simple as the image is such a delight as it is.

So onto challenges...LOTV, they'll be having a few changes on their blog so I'm keeping up with them asd this week is 'no flowers', Inky Chicks 'stitching', Creative Craft 'pic inspired', Promarker 'pink & pearly', Bearly Mine, Papertake, Challenges 4 Everybody and Gliiter n Sparkle , MIM are all 'anything goes,' Simon says 'animal antics'. Hi all, today my card is featuring a fab new digi image free from the talented Nikky at Polka Doodles called 'angel hugs' from the Angelberry collection, gorgeous cuddly pingu just right for someone who is in need of a hug at christmastime, coloured with Promarkers and lightly dusted with glamour dust. Embossed backing paper with my Cuttlebug, scrap of digi paper, die cut heart from Spellbinders, scrap of christmas ribbon with charm, black ribbon strip at the bottom finished with a ticket sentiment.
