My final card for today except it's a bookmark which I'd like to do more often for the youngsters in my family. This is for the Simon Says Stamp challenge where the theme is 'Back to School', now I thought I 'd have at least one stamp in my evergrowing collection but no, so I resorted to some Studio G mini stamps from the August set. Backing paper is from Shabby Princess free downloads 'Harvest' kit, I've used the 'Brian Cary' font for the name and also my little finger print all matched up with a co-ordinating paperclip. Finished off with a bit of raffia stapled on. Very quick to do this one was, and will be given to a little person when I see him next. Thanks for looking.
Thanks for visiting, browse around and I hope you find some inspiration!

A Spoonfull of Sugar challenge 66 is a sketch and Cute Card Thursday # 75 is 'New Beginnings'. My second instalment for today, and I've used a stamp by Katie & Co and papers I've had for years from QVC which are actually scrapbook ones. I made my own shape similar to nesties, flowers are made from acetate which is stamped with a SSS MOD Designs stamp and yellow card, buttons from silver mirri card are all done with CB dies 'Baby face'. I should use my acetate a bit more, quite liked the look of this one...after admiring for ages!!! Thanks for visiting, bye for now.
Papertake Weekly sketch 22 and Kaboodle Doodles challenge 12 'black, white and purple'. Hi all, I've been able to make a couple of cards despite being 'under the weather'. The cute image first of all is from a new blog I found, Digital Delights by Louby Loo.There is some Grand re-opening of their store candy going on there too! This is a digi freebie called 'cat with pumpkin' and so apt for this time of year. Used my watercolouring pencils and some black/ purple dotty paper from Kaboodles 'Halloween' kit. Stamps are from Studio G mini stamps and an assortment of paper scraps from other cards. Hope you like back in a bit...
Thankyou to Chris, I received this beautiful 'Oh Happy Day' set of stamps from Simon Says Stamps as blog candy. As soon as I can get hold of suitable papers for this wonderful set, I shall be making my creations! So a big 'Thankyou' to you both and don't forget there's always candy about on both blogs, you have to be in it to win it!

Funky Fairys challenge #30 is a sketch this week and for some reason I struggled with it. As usual it teams up with Simon Says challenge which is 'Christmas in August'. Image which I've 3D is 'little gem with robin' watercoloured from Pink Gem Designs and I've a nice little collection from there. Papers are from FF Inspirations free downloads. The snowflake one is from Crafts Beautiful site. Sentiment is from 'Sweet n Sassy' stamps 1060 'snowflakes' by Chris Dickinson and it says ' snowflakes are the flowers of winter'. X-cut snowflake punch used on vellum and glamour dust added, gems and ribbon from stash. I'm glad I got there in the end but not quite sure if it all works? The sun has shone today but rained too, I got a chance to take my pic in between the showers and it was a doddle not to get it wet! Have fun crafting all, til next time.

Hi all, it's good to be back and blogging again. I've missed it so much and cardmaking too! So, here is my creation for a few challenges. Sketch I've used is from Friday Sketchers # 66 and theme from Papertake Weekly 'is take your pick' as it is their 100th challenge and what a celebration, there's 6 prizes this week and I missed their '4 Seasons' challenge so I went with Summer. Cute Card Thursday # 74 is 'Lazy Dayz' meaning anything summery or summer colours and ABC is 'buttons' this week! Image is from 'Popcorn the Bear' from Crafters Companion and is from the 'Fathers day' set, masked the duck off to place the flowers in the background coloured with Koh-i-noor pencils and blended with baby oil. Corner stamp is from American Stamps, sunflowers along the bottom are from the 'Someone Special' set and printed back paper is from a long time ago, a freebie not sure where from. A bit of glamour dust added to finish. Now off to see what I've missed and to catch up, bye bye!
