One for Designed 2 Delight. Another fab digi stamp from Faith called Whimsical Cardinals. I've had a little help from my kids to face some the other way and also I re-sized some. That's the joy of digital stamps I suppose, so I went with a landscape type card with pink base followed by a torn effect red card, stamped around my images to make a kind of frame with American Craft stamps, sentiment is from there too! My time was limited so it's really a simple card. Coloured with Promarkers for their challenge too: ruby r455, rose pink m727, pastel beige y717 and lime green g178. Other challenges entered are, Inky Impressions Animals, Quixotic December # Thankyou as are Papertake Weekly and CRAFT, Digital Tuesday Anything Goes, Kaboodle Doodle is Tear it up and Colour Create is Pink, red and white. So i make that 9 challenges in total. Thanks for taking time to visit, New Year is just around the corner now, not long for some more festivities to start just as we're getting over christmas, bye for now!
Tuesday 28 December 2010
One for LOTV. Wow, it's nearly the New Year Bloggers and what a fun way to celebrate than with this cute image of Thomas with champagne from Lili of the Valley stamps and using their sketch, coloured with koh-i-noors with addition of Glamour Dust, papers from The Creative Cottage d/load freebie kit, round sentiment from Studio G mini stamps, added a single flower ...handmade by me! It's a simple card, not too overpowering with embellishments I'm afraid.
Other challenges entered are CRAFT New Year, The Pixie Cottage (gone with party celebrations), as is Totally Papercrafts, MAWTT is Anything but a christmas card, Incy Wincy is Distressing (around the main image), and Crazy # is Punch it (my single flower is made from a mini heart punch) and I've used my Baby Face Dies in the Cuttlebug for the two strips on sketch and also the round tag. Until my next creation, bye and thanks so much for visiting.
Monday 27 December 2010
One for Digi Doodles. I won this beautiful image Angel with Harp from the Crazy # some while back and have been wanting a reason to use this digi stamp. I'm dedicating this card to all those that have lost a loved one whether it be in war, through tragedy or illness and are not with us this christmas...I think it's all too easy to get lost in the celebrations, so this is something to cherish all those brilliant moments, memories of a dearly loved one, card will go to a family who is in need of great faith and encouragement right now. To cherish and hold onto what they have in their hearts. So, whilst i hold back my tears...free scrolls digi d/load papers are from the wonderful Jak, thankyou, Stempelglede corner stamp, must use this more often, old wood mounted sentiment stamp from papercrafts4 you.co.uk, image coloured with Koh-i-noor pencils, finished with Glamour Dust on the beautiful angel wing and harp strings.
Other challenges entered are Crafty Creations Angels, Flutterby Wednesdays, Charisma is Pearls and Lace, Simon Says 2nd entry, 2 new challenges to me...Digi stamps4 joy and Crafts and me. Hope everyone is having a fab time and getting in the mood for New Year!

Merry Christmas To All! Well, here we are on a fab Thursday, it's soooo magical outside, all coated in white fluffy stuff and I love the scenery from my window. Absolutely stunning...white rooftops, that is! Faith always gives out fab digi images and this time it was a fab wintry snowman and some mittens...i decided to incorporate both onto my card, hope you like what I've done with them Faith. Used a gorgeous sketch (see below) from Sketch & Stash albeit the elements are coming off my card (just for a little something different), theyr'e having their own special Christmas celebrations and also celebrating their almost 2 year anniversary of the challenge blog, how fab is that!!! Go and see what's on offer for prizes. Papers are from Cuddly Buddly blog, I've turned it into a Birthday card although I sent Postpals cards out early in the month, this will probably get saved for next year. The wording is a stamp from See D's, posh ribbon saved from posh present, no glitter as this is aimed for a male, doodled some hearts around my handcut scallop, coloured with Promarkers, I'm definitley getting on much better with these than Copics, hope you can see some improvement as i go along, they're bought from here and until start of January 2011 for UK it's free P&P!
Other fab challenges entered are Digital Tuesday let's celebrate, Paper Pretties Birthday card, Party Time Tuesdays red, white & green (must have birthday somewhere on your card), I love Promarkers Anything goes as is Promarker #, Sweet Stampin Celebrations and Rainbow Ladys to choose anything from this year, went with #96 In my garden i see...hmmmm a Snowman! One with Postbox Ellie. This is a stamp i purchased a little while ago when the talented Janet had a sale on. Cute image with earmuffs and all the wintry accessories. This card was fairly simple, on the post box I wrote 'last post', used fabby luscious velvet ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and the thinner green and red is from there too. I just could'nt believe the vast range of yummylicious ribbons they have on their website, I sent them this card to say thanks. Coloured with Koh-i-noors and blended after. Challenges entered are only 4...Die Cut dreams 'how Girlie can you get', Papertake Weekly is Anything Goes as is Simon Says and ABC # is 'keep it simple'. Hope all is well in blogland, everyone's winding down a little, ready for family get togethers, come back tomorrow for my next creation and then a bit of rest for me! Bye.

Thanks for taking the time to visit and enjoy your Sunday!
Thursday 16 December 2010
One for Stamp Fairy's 1st challenge. This is a new challenge for me and is 'Glam it up', the fab digi image of the gingerbread baby from their site gave me a perfect excuse to use up my fab ribbons from Craft Ribbons, gorgeous quality! This will be a present from my children to their grandmother and I'm sure she'll love it because I've never really put much thought into the presentation in the past...so i teamed it up with a Meljen's digi tag from their site too... and entering into their challenge 'sweet as candy (or cookie)', YNS 'Let's Party' (this could easily be a treat bag to give away after the party), Cute card Thursday 'one for the kids' and Paper Play is Anything but a card. Paper is from Cuddly Buddly, image and tag coloured with Koh-i-noor's.
I made my own tabs, and you can find the instructions to this gift bag here. Thanks for visiting and taking time out to look at my little creations, blogland is looking very christmasy and I still have Sunflowers on my blog, bye for now!
Morning all! Super Thursday it is as it's the turn for Faith's challenge with this huggable Winter Bear digi image. Absolutely a joy it was to colour in as Polar bears are white and this only needed a bit of shading here and there, nice and easy! It's for their sisiter challenge Double Delights Anything Goes, Digital Tuesday is Sparkling Christmas, followed the fab sketch from Truly Scrumptious, added Pearls for The Beary Scrap #, followed the colours from Simon Says 'Silver, blue and white', MAWTT is Let it snow, CRAFT is Black, white and splash of colour, Cooking it up with Katie is Fave Techniques (embossing with folders), ribbons and brads, Crafty Purple Frog is Christmas themed and Papertake Weekly is Christmas Birthdays.

Pearls from Heidi at Simon Says, everything else from stash. Just wanted to say to all the challenge blogs who give out so much inspiration each week, thankyou for all their hard work, i know it can't be easy with family life commitments etc but i do feel i've got better through entering more and more challenges and the blogging side of it...well it is too addictive but ...so glad i found it and joined the fun!!! Hope to be back with another.
Wednesday 15 December 2010
Hi all! I've had these lovely digi images printed out for well over a month from Pink Petticoat called Ice Christmas, my win from Papertake's blog hop in October...and have wanted to make mini cards with them, so when my kids asked if I had any spares, i got to it straight away and here they are. So tiny but dainty images, loved colouring them mix of promarkers and a few copics. Glamour dust added, I do believe the backing paper is there's too from a few years back, lovely! This card is for ABC Christmas # which is Z for Zero, they're nearly a year old, having a blog hop and challenge is to replay a past challenge...i've gone with a really recent one here
entry for Anything # 'rainbow colours, use at least a couple of them', and CRAFT is a colour theme too very similar so hope it counts!

Creative Cottage take two! Yesterday I made a card for their challenge along with a gift but didn't read the next word 'BAG', so i couldn't enter my little offering. Today from the same kit I made a little treat bag to go with a mini card. All ted bear stamps came free with a mag and are by Adam Pescott 'Bentley Bear'. I've hardly used them, perfect for mini things. I've heat embossed sentiment with some sparkly embossing powder...really really sparkly in the light but i couln't pick it up on my camera no matter how many pics I took...it's a dark and dismal day today hence the pics. Coloured with some Pastels Promarkers, ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.
I've cancelled my order with QVC as I'm getting a far better deal here, under a £1 for a Promarker, thanks to the lovely Donna, thankyou for letting me know :)))))
Inside of the tag.

One for Creative Cottage. This one is using the fab freebie kit on their challenge blog # is 'to make card and matching gift', super, super kit, love it for instant cards...and gifts! Looking around blogland I could see these decorative tree hangers on some very talented blogs, thought about having a go by printing out both sides of paper to make my own version with 5cm squares (details at bottom of this post), just cut out a round scallop for these little components to sit on at 12 o'clock, 3,6 and then at 9. As i had 8, it made it really easy to slot the last four in place and there we have a giant snowflake. Used the button which comes in kit for centre and gemmed it up. Sequins to cover up my messy glue!
The back...stamped with sentiment and snowflake from Sweet n Sassy stamps Snowflake set, threaded with yummy checked ribbon from Crafty Ribbons (super service by the way).
This is how I made my components with 5cm squares, easy!
Challenges entered are 9 others, namely, Fab n Funky 'Christmas is for children', they had a birthday celebration last week and I was one of the winners so a big thanks, Paperplay is Holiday tag (I think my snowflake could be used as a tag for a large present???), OSAAT and Christmas Stampin 'Anything Goes', Scrappy Frogs Holiday Decoration, Charisma 'gift', Allsorts 'last minute christmas', Ellephantastic Christmas/winter and last but not least Kaboodle Doodle 'clean & simple'...not followed any complicated sketch, just found my way round the card with the kits pieces! Thanks for the visits, they're so appreciated and I hope you continue to like what you see here, bye for now.

One for the Ribbon Girls. Hi, I really wanted to join in their 3rd # and fab colour theme it is...Lilac, Pink and White, used some leftover papers from different cards all d/loads, gorgeous digi image from the talented Faith. I'll be printing some more off to send to Post Pals...just the thing for a child! Love this cutey bear...how he's peering over the present and i've placed him on a thin strip of strong acetate (don't throw away those posh cracker boxes, the acetate off them is very handy), cut out my own balloons, coloured with copics as is the prese, teddy is with Koh-i-noors, round sentiment from Cuddly Buddly, placed an epoxy heart where there's was, left the presnet white with a light dusting of glam dust.
Challenges entered are Party Time Tuesdays '1 or more balloons' and must have the 'birthday' wording somewhere, Crafty Creations is a Beary project, Crafty Catz is Birthday Bear, Creative Card Crew Anything Goes, CES Anything but a Christmas card, MAWTT Lots of spots, Sweet Stampin is 3 backing papers, 2 embellishments (mine is ribbon and braid) 1 image, and last but not least is Stamp Something 'Digi'. Quite a few there...hope all is well in blogland, here we're expecting a dusting of snow again just as the last one has cleared. Stay warm!
Wednesday 8 December 2010
Hello crafty friends! Today I've a 2nd instalment for Cards For Men...and rightly so this fab cartoony type digi is being offered by Donna if you'd like it. Well this is perfect for all those kids who just want to say 'Well, I can't be good all of the time!' He's such a cutey, broken the branches of the tree, stuck a bit behind him too, does he think his parents won't notice....may be not!!! Absolutely love it! I made a small batch of cards to send them right off to Postpals, just have to find 3 boys who would love these, ofcourse buttons will come off replaced by something more flatter. The Postmaster at my local PO charges me a lot just for a little bump showing through the envelope but still double checks with me. But I'd like to put a smile on a childs smile, if you've a spare card, please send one to them, they really are appreciative and humbling people, just want their kids to be better and lead normal lives like everyone else.
Other challenges entered are, Stampin for the Weekend '2 circles, 2 squares, buttons and bling', Sweet Stampin 'make your own backing paper'(mine is the christmas words on white paper, old woodmounted stamp from Whispers, not sure they're still around), Simon Says Christmas 'No red/green', I Love Promarkers 'Song title/carol...mine is Oh Christmas Tree' and my first time at Promarker # for Anything Goes. I've only Brights and Pastels pack, still learning lots so please forgive my colouring, on wait list for the rest, super value at QVC, hope they come soon!
One more thing... a nice lady left a comment to ask about stamping sentiment straight onto card. I feel confident enough now to do that but at one time not so. Best thing is if you've a clear stamp you can see through it where you'd like your sentiment to sit, the next is stamp onto rough paper to see if pressure is all even, i can be too heavy handed and squish the whole thing. If I've a dark rubber stamp i place it on the mount block parallel to the straight line of the block, can't really go wrong. Hope that makes sense, I collect any kind of stamps but really do prefer the polymer stamps! Bye until tomorrow.
Monday 6 December 2010
One for Teddy Stampers. This is a super cute stamp from Wild Rose Studio and my very first, won it from their blog and couldn't wait to put some ink on it! Christmas Milton has been coloured with Koh-i-noors and blended with Sansodor, for smaller parts used a bit of w/colours, paper from here, sentiment from here, finished off with lots of Glamour Dust!
Lots of entries to enter for namely, Stamp Something Christmas colours, Sew Many Snowflakes, Crafty Pad Anything Goes are having their 100th challenge...so celebrations are in store over there, Keep it simple Deck the halls...Milton certainly looks like he's making a grand entrance to place the Xmas parcels under the tree! Christmas Card is Monochromatic as is Paper Play, Rainbow Ladys is Xmas Animals and CRAFT is Christmas Birthday. One more thing, forgot to say in my earlier post Cards for Men are having a bit of a celebration too, so be sure to join in. Have fun crafting!
One for Tiddly Inks. I'd printed off a fair few images to make up into cards from some wonderful blogs out there, these mitts tags would be perfect with a winter present such as a scarf, mittens, hat etc. who doesn't need these right now! So a lovely digi image from their blog, layered onto some old paper from Funky fairies blog which is no more, coloured with Promarkers and a tiny bit of blending, stamped snowflakes and sentiment too which is from a mag, hand crochet some white thin ply wool in a chain and glue down with some strong glue. I just thought it gave a bit of a textured look rather than a flat tag. Navy ribbon from wrapping of hubby's new pj's. Ofcourse Knitting & Crochet are coming back in a big way I've heard. So watch this blog...when there's not many cards here there might be some woolly stuff.
Other challenges entered are Cards For Men Christmas as is Secret Crafter, Kaboodle Doodles tag, Dotties Wonderful World Blue Anything goes, OSAAT old stash, new stash, Cute Card Thursday Blues, Stamptacular Sunday Blue Christmas and some form of stamping must be used (snoflakes & sentiment) and Die Cut Dreams is Seeing Triple (as you can see:))))
Saturday 4 December 2010
Morning all, just a quick post. I've missed taking part in Dustins challenges over at Doodle Dragon Studio. His fab drawings are a talent not to be missed, sooo 'cartoony' and just right for kids and so this one will be going to Postpals too! Dustin has asked for 'embossing, bling and metal' for the challenge, as it's a birthday card I'm entering for Party Time Tuesdays Anything Goes, used the gorgeous sketch from Simon Says, Whoopsy Daisy 'Let's get girly', OSAAT 'celebrate in style, bling it up' and Fab N Funky is 'birthday' and they've got a blog hop at the mo as the're celebrating a year!!! Hopefully be back soon.
Friday 3 December 2010
Hi and meet Cafe Lucy. She's such a sweet image from Sparkle Creations, was lucky enough to win the stamp so 'Thankyou Sparkle', and how impressed I was with the thick rubber, absolutely no need for the cling mount. I could so easily use this for 'thinking of you', 'let's meet up' kind of occassions, but ofcourse 'someone special' and birthdays would do too. She was a joy to colour I used my Koi's w/colours, papers from K & Co Roam paper pad, blinged with tiny gems, some cream braid my hubby chose while we were away, used X Cut snowflake punch, cream paper flowers, text is stamp from a set bought from QVC Personal Impressions. So it's going to support of course Sparkles challenge which is a pic inspiration, sketch from Christmas Card # rotated it once, A Spoonful of sugar '3papers, 3flowers,3gems', Totally Papercrafts Christmas punches, MAWTT 'someone special' and last but not at all the least Crafty Emma's Store 'vintage Christmas' and the've got a bit of candy if you display CES new banner, it's a pretty one too and at the top of my blog. Hope to craft another and be back soon!
