Hi to all, hope everyone is safe and well wherever you are. My card is a creation using Krista's 'fancy' digi image which was given away so freely..really kind lady!!! I've a little collection of the ones as freebies tucked in a file and come in so handy. Coloured with Promarkers, using a Go Kreate frilly die, fabulous luscious satin ribbon from a win over at Allsorts blog from The Pretty Little Ribbon shop..lovely variety of colours in a beautiful bundle wrapped in pink tissue paper..so many many thanks..it may take me a while to get through them. Pearls from Meiflower..love those too. Bit of doodling round the shapes to bring it together..top sentiment from Elzybells (sadly no more).

So I'm sorry for the quality of pics today, it's got dark really quickly and have only got a spare moment to do this. Challenges entered are 10.. .Poodles Parlour 2nd 'anyhting goes' as are Stampin for the weekend, Paperplaytime, Fashionistas week 2, Bearly Mine, Stamptacular sunday 'not just ordinary card', Creative card Crew 'fancy folds', Charisma 'son't be square' CRAFT ( won some gorgeous d/loads, thankyou) they've got '1 image, 2 papers, 2 flowers..mmmmm oops think I forgot those and sentiment' and last but not the least Saturated Canary 'shaped card'. This card and some others I've made will be posted out to the lovely Krista to take to the hospital she'll be visiting in December. Good afternoon all. Today we have mist in the air and less of the fog..not too cold but perhaps cold enough for these hedgies to go into hibernation. He's a real cutie, was free with a magazine and from County Companions. Coloured with Promarkers (can you tell I'm still experimenting), lots of embossing, gold mirri card with a piece of ribbon, chalking slightly on the edges of the card and a string bow with slight dusting of glamour dust on his fur/spikes.

Hi, yes I'm on a bit of a roll with my creations especially as I've 2 children (girl & boy) who are expecting a little hand made treat for Halloween..we don't really celebrate it but wouldn't stop the kiddies having their bit of fun. So this is the male version of a treat bag to go with the girl one made a couple posts down. Made out of 2 sheets of A4, I found this one much easier and quicker to make..I think it's all down to experience. Cat and pumpkin digi image from here, ghost digi's resized from here, a bit of white sakura pen art for cobwebs, embossing just like the girl one, tag made from Studio G mini stamps.

Hi and a quickie card to show you this evening as it was an emergency card request from my daughter to give to a friend who's just had her first baby! Wow, it's been a while since i made a card so quickly... but can you guess where I got this digi image from..Sassy Cheryl's 'special stork delivery', they do a girl one too, 'many thanks!. I won a voucher to spend in their fab store and I want them all, all gorgeous images, very, very cutesy. So there's a scrap strip of gingham from a previous card, some silver mirri card, embossing, image coloured with Promarkers, chalked some clouds in the background, stork embellishment from Create & Craft website some years back and the heart button too. Scrap of posh ribbon from Meiflower. Sentiment done on the computer. Glamour Dust added to baby's blanket.

 

So that's what I've been up to.. and now I shall have to enter it in some challenges. Good afternoon/evening all. My creation is using a template from Cardmaking Downloads website..great inspiration there be sure to visit! Just normal black cardstock used, some bits of last years cards (both strips, top & bottom). Gorgeous freebie image from Janet over at Pink Gem..many thanks! Coloured image with Promarkers, Marianne Creatables flower dies, made my own bat cutouts, white sakura pen for highlights, flourescent orange ribbon, tag made with Studio G mini stamps with orange promarker. Used cobweb embossing folder whilst the template was flat, used wet glue to put it all together. Glamour Dust added to the cobweb.

Hi to all, it feels so much like Autumn today but I've a birthday card to cheer everyone up. Would you believe these backing papers are Summer Driggs latest Autumn freebie..for some reason they came out of the printer looking very much ike a blue instead of brown..I don't know why???? I'm still pondering that one ..they were too good to waste away to the bin so I inked the edges with my cinnamon Promarker pen and brought them to life just a little bit. Hope you like what I've made, ticket sentiment I used as a tag from here, cute stamped image from Sparkle Rubberstamps called 'celebrating Chloe' with walnut stain distress. Phlox flower die, scrap of lace and pearl from stash. Not forgetting the paper piecing on her dress.

Onto my creation which is using a gruffie bear image called 'finding friendship'..I love this image, stamped with Walnut Stain distress ink, so easy to colour with minimal technique (my kind of colouring)!!!Base cardstock is dark brown and slightly ribbed,  coloured with Promarkers, fantatsic freebie papers from the wonderful Summer Driggs, 'brother' sentiment from computer, the top one is a stamp from See D's stamps, some fab drawstring trim to finish off the tag.

Hi to all blogland and in particular crafters! My creation is using the fab Krista's digi image 'boobie love' freebie..gorgeous images, love them all. Coloured with Promarkers, pearls from Meiflower, Wendy's sentiment freebie, distressed paper from Polka Doodle cd, bit of scrap ribbon for the Breast Cancer logo with staple. This is one of the cards to be sent to Krista soon, 'thankyou' for your generosity Krista! As October is breast cancer awareness month I thought this card could do for maybe someone who's come out the other side amazingly a survivor through this horrid illness or someone who's just taking one day at a time.

Hello blogging friends. I've made time today to make a 50th birthday/anniversary card. I like these simple type of card normally fairly quick to make but it seemed forever that I should get it finished. LOTV image' thomas with champagne', lightly coloured with my Promarkers, glamour dusted the champagne bubbles and on the present, written hand sentiment on tag, lots of embossing, white lace, rhinestones and silver pearls from Meiflower, sentiment at top from the lovely Wendy at Digital Doodling, made my own 50 in silver mirri card, flowers and leaves from Marianne Creatables.

Hi to all! What a blustery day it's been but we have the wonderful sunshine to top it up. I've been wanting to do a number card for a while..it's a full A4 folded in half, with plenty of embossing with the cuttlebug, numbers are new d/load printout but I can't remember where they were from as I've forgotten to name the folder (could be from cardmaking download site), font from the computer, as ever the brilliant old Forever Friends with cake stamp coloured with my Promarkers, I've used this one several times since buying it, just adorable bears, lace at the bottom, sheer ribbon from Meiflower at the top and some bunting cut out from scraps of Donna's freebie d/load. Love this one so much, it's going to be hard giving it away!

Hi and a little card (well not so little) to show you with not much on it as it's for 5 challenges some of them asking for precisely that. Hope that all the crafty bloggers are well and enjoying the bit of good weather we've had today in the uk! It's so warm that a good potter round the garden was called for but I didn't see many of these beautiful creatures about...it's such a shame that this year I've only seen a minimal amount, looking onward to what next year will bring I think. Sentiment stamp from Daisy & Dandelion set was stamped first, cut out the wonderful butterfly from Nikky's cd d/load (can't remember which one it was, it was printed afair few months ago), laid the small one onto the larger one, then applied some Glamour Dust trailing behind it, it didn't quite look right(empty) so I added the flowery border but couldn't on the left side as there wasn't enough room so i thought I'd use the American Crafts dotty border to finish that side. Hope it doesn't look too odd but i got it finished in the end. Stamped with walnut Stain distress ink, flowers coloured with Pink Promarker. Challenges entered are Simply Less is Moore 'brown & pink', Charisma 'no embellishments', Flutterby Wednesdays 'birthday' and don't forget the butterfly or fairy, Papertake Weekly 'anything goes' and Joanna Sheen 'going dotty'. Happy Monday! Hope everyone is doing well and looking forward to the week ahead...suppose to be a good sunny week. My card is using some old See D's stamps, coloured with Promarkers, sentiment is part of a Hero Arts stamp..just masked off the rest of the wording. I've  also layered up the middle flower and there's Glamour Dust all round. Honeycomb paper is a Pink Petticoat d/load, I thought this would encourage all the bees to come out ;)..added some faux sticthing to finish.

Hello crafty bloggers, it's been a long time now since I created a card, I've been thinking about all the fun I used to have here. Lifes happenings get in the way and due to a bereavement in my family it set me back a little, hopefully things are settled down a bit so I can send some love to needy children. I'm really hoping I've not forgotten too much, how to link things and that my brain cells are ready for some imaginative creativity! So i thought the lovely Krista's 'Ava' would be a good start..a freebie and as always a joy to colour in with my Promarkers, paper is a d/load from Cardmaking downloads website freebie from Clipart Fairy I believe (hope that's right), tried a different thing with the beautiful Mei flower ribbon, gathered it up by pulling the top thread after machine stitching on a larger stitch, sentiment is a digi from Polka Doodle cd, stamped text is from Cuddly Buddly. Bling is from stash.

 

 

This one will be sent over the pond  along with some others that I'm hoping to make as a donation for Krista's 'Give Big' charity for a Childrens Research Hospital. Incidently this card fits quite a few challenges.. Welcome all to my blog, well what a whirlwind of warm air we're having lately, it seems they may be change tomorrow. Welcome once again, I'm getting back into using my crafty stash and can't believe how long it's been since i created a card like this albeit seems very cluttered after my last 2 cards (let me know what you think), I got out my Go Kreate Dies for my main shape, CC Designs Phlox flower die, handcut circle. The cutesy image is LOTV 'milly, me & my dog'..just the adorable image that brings back memories of being pushed in the park by my siblings. Just a wonderful image, coloured with Promarkers, top sentiment from Paper Pretties pirate set, bottom one from Personal Impressions stamp set, the lovely d/load paper is from Michelle Coleman freebie. Ribbon is lush with white dots from Meiflower, yellow button from Fantastic Ribbons. Bit of Glamout Dust added to the dress and grass and finished with 3 sequins on flowers.

Morning all to a dreary wet day, I've started my cardmaking with a nice simple card, only a mini one with some scraps of Pink Petticoat paper, CC Designs flower dies and a little stamped sentiment from American Crafts, rhinestone to finish. Nice gentle way to get back into cards I thought. The challenges entered are LIM with 2 lovely simple sketches..i chose the square version, Paperplaytime, Crafty Catz, Poodles Parlour and Inky Impressions are 'anything goes'. Hoping to do some more creative crafting this afternoon. Bye for now.

Morning to a very warm sunny start to the week, wow, what a difference to yesterdays weather... rain, rain and rain non-stop. I think you can guess this is not a card in the pic but a full adult size jumper for my daughter (longer in the sleeve as that's how they like them now adays, I've been told). Am I glad this is finished, it was a promise i kept since November last year and she loves it and is safely tucked away in her winter draw for later this year. It's so snug annd warm made from a Wendy pattern 5616 Merino Chunky and is very textured indeed. The rib is a twisted rib and the base pattern is really quick with only a 2 row pattern. Hope you like this as much as I like the finished product! Hoping to return to my fave challenges and get some cards made before I start on my next knitting project for my hubby.
