At last one for PB challenge. I've missed one of my fave challenges for quite some time, only because i wander off to give a little support elsewhere :))) papers from various offcuts, PB image from Hugs sheet, sentiment stamped from American Crafts with Walnut Stain Distress Ink, some card candy, brown grosgrain ribbon, butterflies from Daisy & Dandelion set stamped, cutout and popped onto foam pads. So i followed the Penny Black sketch, used Autumn Colour for Penny Black at Allsorts, Crafty Creations Green, Brown & Red, Simon Says Thanksgiving, and Flutter by Wednesdays used butterflies! Truly a 'Beautiful Blessing'. That is the name of this elegant digi stamp from Faith at Designed 2 Delight Digital Stamps...this only needed minimal colouring but i can see the distressing could be taken further by more different techniques. Followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday, Charisma Cardz is Vintage, Incy Wincy is Pink/Brown, Crafty Pad is Distress/Torn, and 3rd final entry for Top Tip Tuesday Anything Goes. Paper is the Summer indoors from Crafters Companion CD, some card candy which I bought from QVC and absolutely love it but keep forgetting to use, fern and daisy punches used, ticket from the lovely Caz, buttons from stash! One for Pink Gem challenge. Hi everyone, I'm still cutting around my images...can you tell, hope you like this one, using their own image and sentiment (i've had a little spend over at Janet's last weekend, couldn't resist the sale), followed their sketch, used my win papers from Papertake Weekly from the fantastically talented Liz. These are Autumn Blossoms range and i can't tell you how fab they print out clear edge to edge printing which my computer normally doesn't do but i was sooo happy to find the paper coming out with no white strips all round so no wastage! Just loving all the papers and so perfect for this season, the ticket is a stamp from American Crafts. Other super challenges entered are Totally Papercrafts Autumn, Cards For Men Birthday, CES Male and Top Tip Tuesday(2nd entry) Anything Goes. Hope to be back with another!

I'm back with my second card. It's for all the Halloweeen challenges out there, used the lovely sketch from Creative Inspirations, backing paper free from Crafters Companion website, digi image precoloured Sherbet the bear freebie from The Ceative Cottage. It's for Faith's ongoing fabby challenge Designed 2 Delight Digital Stamps using the freebie digi image so suitable for the card it was intended for...added some flowery ribbon from stash, zig-zag some faux stitching and stamped straight onto it with Penny Black sentiment. A Thanksgiving Day. This must be an understatement, my card was suppose to go on my blog yesterday but I was soooo captivated with all the news coverage on the Chile Miners all day, a fine moment in history is recorded, what a brilliant morning it is to find out all are out and safe. Hello all. Today and maybe the last one for this week I've got a card from a scrappling and the topper is placed a quarter of the way up. The autumnal digi image is from the very generous Karen from Karen's Doodles, for their own challenge #31 Halloween/fall, Simon Says is Halloween too and Cards For Men is Autumn, Inky Impressions is Anything Goes. The gorgeous pumpkin paper is a free d/load from the Crafters Companion website, the other day I received a super bumper package from a blog hop, such a generous company to part with so much rubber and hope to make some fab creations! It's Thursday. It's also time to enter the Designed 2 DElight challenge with this beautiful apples image. Faith is soooo good to us crafters and I love trying out new stuff each week. This time when I saw the image I thought about some jotter pads I'd bought from the Range when it opened in our town. I made the front cover from some red card, picked out some dotty vintage look paper from The Shabby Princess d/load, die cut some red scraps with Baby Face Dies in my Cuttlebug, added some string if the recipient wants to hang it on a hook in the kitchen. Never made anyhting like this before so was quite pleased with it, challenges entered are MAWTT #67 Anything but a card, Crafty Sentiments #38 Autumn colours as is Kaboodle Doodle #41 and Charisma Card #40. I've been picking the last few of the apples on our tree and it seemed so fitting when I made this shopping list pad, hope it's inspired someone out there, bye until next time!

The fabulously talented Ria has started a contest for World Cardmaking Day at the weekend and I htought I'd give it a go...challenge is to case her beautiful card, hope I've got everything there, image is a beautiful SWALK stamp from Crafters Companion, had a scrap left over soooO decided to paper piece her little petticoat, yellow is a Funky Fairy d/load, everyhting else from stash. I thought I'd make a mini card, digi image precoloured from The Creative Cottage freebie, resized and made it plumper, decorated with tiny glass beads (free with a mag) and some micro fine glitter...

Morning all and happy World Cardmaking Day! The only thing is mine doesn't look like a card...Paulette set a contest a few days ago with this adorable digi image and sentiment freebie, how wonderfully generous and immediately thought of a bookmark to send to a young bookworm to brighten her day. Red card from stash, yellow is inexpensive hand made paper, lovely thick texture, white Sakura pen for accenting around the edges, my fern is in between changing season colours, gem and recycled braid to finish off! This pic was sooo difficult to take, managed to get it right (I hope) in the end, the idea is there and the basic look. Challenges entered are Create with TLC, Simon Says Autumn Inspiration as is Stampin For the Weekend, Cooking it up with Katie Digi, Yellow and Sparkle and Sew Many Challenges Anything Goes. Thanks again Faith. I've got stuck a couple of times for cards to give for those awkward situations. An occassion to say perhaps... 'I feel your pain as I've been there myself' but not quite got hold of the right image. Well Faith has given another one of her freebies away Peace & Comfort, it comes with a Peace sentiment and the one I've used below. As it was going to be a very simple card, I printed out two of the same flowers, cut round and layered onto the other with foam squares for a bit of dimension, you might spot the sheer ribbon at the side (it needed something). Challenges entered are Designed 2 Delight Digital Stamps, their sister challenge Double Delight sponging/distressing (I've used my unpicker to distress around the card), Colour Create 'All White option of Embossing', Crafty Catz stitching, OSAAT Anyhting Goes, The Secret Crafter Purple & Silver (added Glamour Dust is my silver ;), Fab N Funky 'Is it black/white plus 1 other colour'. I turned mine into an easel for Polka Doodles, gave it some movement as in strong acetate 'wobbly' for the Simon Says challenge 'Move it, move it' (great title for challenge), Cards For Men is Transport...i think a horsey can count as one, Stamp Something is Digi, OSAAT 'Happy Birthday', Pixie Dust Studio challenge is Fur/Feather, and The Secret Crafter is Anything Goes. Hi all blogging friends, today I thought i'd make my card for the Penny Black challenge (nearly didn't get it made as things just kept coming up that needed priority) but it's here and at first I was a little stumped with the title, as apart from the Hugs set, there wasn't anyhting Penny Black for Men/Boys. Then I remembered the wonderfully talented Kath sent me a package some time ago with this cute snowman image (I presume it is PB). Then I've been wanting to try out this Diamond Fold card (hope it's the right title for it) and after a few trys out on scrap A4 paper I achieved it. The image has some holly berries stamped free from a mag and same with the sentiment tag, gold sequin for middle of snowflakes...hope you like it as much as I do...and the other challenges entered are Colour Create #53 Red, Gold and White, MAWTT Christmas, Everybody Art Card Folds, Sew Many challenges #27 Embossing and Stampin For The weekend #47 Tag it. For my dearest friend. As the front of the card suggests, I thought this cute digi image from Faith is perfect as it reminds me of the olden days in the summer stringing up the daisies from the garden, these daisies are the modern ones that come in all beautiful colours. Everything here is digi, papers are from Nikky's Polka Doodles CD Back to Nature Shake a tail Feather...'friend' is a stamp from Crafters Companion Girls set...

...the inside, there is a digi floral wreath and a lovely round sentiment from the talented Paulette, but with a little bit of messing around on the computer managed to overlay the two together, i think it goes, just about. So, i've used the fab recipe sketch from Polka Doodles #36 'No fabric ribbon,flap to be shaped and 3 brads to be used', Lexi's Creations Flower Power, ABC D for Distressing, Crafty Sentiments Blue, Grey and yellow (not much grey), Just Cute Bears #34 is Picture Inspiration (I went with the peacock feathers) and ofcourse Faith's super challenge Designed 2 Delight Digital Stamps.
