Good afternoon! I have Horace the dog to show you today, came free with the Craft Stamper magazine, and did i have a panic to find this little stamp after i bought it... because all too often I put things in very safe places even i can't find them! Well he's on a card for Pink Gem monthly challenge, a fab sketch and I've used the super colour theme from Create 4 Fun #13 'brown, cream and pink'. I love these gorgeous papers from The Creative Cottage, absolutely beautiful printouts everytime...It looks like Horace has been all over the card to distress it for me, handcut shape with decor scissors, Heather Flowersoft for flower centers, pink heart flat pearl from Bunny Zoes Crafts, round stamp from American Crafts, sentiment inside from Simon Says Stamps Savour Cupcake set. Hope it's wonderful where you are, first day of the Easter holidays for the kids here, it's turned grey and very showery, chilly and cold. That's all for now.

Hi all, thanks for visiting. At CRAFT it is my fourth and final week, just like to say to Claire and the fab team it's been a delight guest designing,'Thankyou' for having me and I'll be looking in on all the gorgeous creations every week. Onto my card which you can guess is part of a set for Week 43 Easter at CRAFT, I've had these Popcorn Bear sets unused and this particular one is the chosen one for my creation. I love the little ducky, how it's helping to carry just the one daffodil, the easter basket is made from a template done by the talented Jacqui over at the Whiff of Joy blog, it's so easy to make. Used some blingy braid from stash, added some glamour dust to the daff's, hand written on the tag, round sentiment from Studio G stamps. It's such an easy theme I do hope many of you will join in to win a fab prize on offer! Hello and good morning! Today I have to show this gorgeous digi image 'In Bloom' from Faith at Designed 2 Delight Digital Stamps, fab to just cut round, made my own shaped card with doily lace punch, distressed using an old inkpad over the embossing and some Heather Flowersoft in the centre of the blooms. The sentiment is something i tried with the computer, me and technology don't go together as you can see...the text turned out blue so had to colour finely with a black liner and also I ended up with yellow around it....arggg, but we still have a finished creation. The challenges I'm entering this for is A Spoonfull of Sugar (I won) some super images last week from there, Papertake Weekly is Lilac & Lemon, Digital Tuesday #50 is Green, YNS #12 is Distressing, Creative Inspirations #52 White, Yellow and Green (won a little discount last challenge) and last but not least Kaboodle Doodles #22 is a Shaped Card. Todays creation. This is a card/memory book, my version, really I'm thinking of adding some memory pages to it when I give it. We have so many milestones and big birthdays in my family coming up if this one works I may make more. The numbers are templates from a magazine download, gorgeous peacock papers from Nikky's super Back to Nature cd Shake a Tailfeather section and is for their Polka Doodle #10 Special Birthdays/ Milestones. Found some lilac pearlescent paper, wonderful fibre in my stash, a bit of glamour dust and finished! I'm entering this into Cute Card Thursday #104 Anniversary, I hope it counts, 40th is like an anniversary? Crafty Creations #59 is Spots and Dots and The Creative Cottage #2 is Flowers. That's it for today, wishing you all a sunny weekend.

Thursday 18 March 2010

Good morning all! Hope everyone is well and recovered from St Patricks celebrations yesterday. Onto my 3rd week of Guest Designing for CRAFT challenge, Week 42 is Nursery Rhymes, I've gone with 'Rock a bye baby on the tree top', using this Penny Black Dream a Dream stamp, just perfect, I love this stamp, a splash of colouring and there you have it. Image was stamped twice on two gift tags, I made a matching gift bag too from this sheet of 12 x12 scrapbook sheet using a NEW free template from the Craft Stamper site, these papers have green on them so thought I'd enter into a few challenges not sure which make they are, stamped tiny flowers from Popcorn bear set and handcut individually, some punched out butterflies, used some crochet lace to tie my bag at the back but you could easily make a slit and tuck the flap in. So there we have it, fresh flower is one my daughter saved from a meal out only the stalk has wilted so I used it on this pic, hope you crafters will give this challenge a go, easy one...please pop over to see the gorgeous creations the dt create every week too! I would like this card to go for Sketch Saturday #94, Penny Black #92 Spring Colours, Creative Card Crew #46 Going Dotty, Simon Says, Flutter by Wednesday, Incy Wincy Designs are all 'green' challenges and Fab n Funky is to use something 'New' my bag template. Sunday 14 March 2010

Happy Mothering Sunday! Here in the UK we are celebrating, I thought I'd share this card I made for Faith's challenge, Designed 2 Delight Digital Stamps with this gorgeous stacked up image, used the wonderful sketch from Papertake Weekly #36, pierced without thread on my sewing machine for Digital Tuesday #49, not used any patterned papers for Dare U 2 Digi Stamp #33, The Secret Crafter #74 Anything Goes, Colour Create # 40 have asked for 'Mint, Chocolate and Cream' and if you go over there to see the pic you'll see what I mean, I wanted one all to myself, (had to raid the freezer), there's an added optional which is Texture, I've used cream lace, tiny silver beads, embossing folders and made my own little flowers with the exception of a die cut under the heart petals, sentiment done on the computer. Hope everyone has had a good restful weekend and mums have been pampered (I think it should happen everyday), I wish you all a super evening wherever you are, bye for now!

Friday 12 March 2010

Hi and meet this cute owl. It's from Nikky's Back to Nature CD, Scout, Get into Shape section. There's so much on the cd that I'm still discovering papers I'd missed. This is on a small acetate measuring only 3 inches by 4.5 inches but the print out was A5 size, fits perfectly! I've got until sunday to get my entry in for the Polka Doodles #9 'Wings' with some stamping which is the birthday sentiment on a See D's tag stamp (see below).

I found some of this black/white gift wrap for the inside and created some of my own heart butterflies and used some wire with my Zision Provocraft kit, placed some flowers punched from scraps, red gems to finish off! I found a new challenge to me Magical Crafts #10 'Things with wings' as is Totally Papercrafts #7 this week , Cute Card Thursday #103 is celebrating their 2nd birthday, Flutter by Wednesdays #100 and Charisma Cardz #10 is Beautiful Butterflies. Hope you like this one, have a great friday all!

Thursday 11 March 2010

Good morning to all! It's my second week of guest designing for the CRAFT challenge. Weeks are flying by, soon it'll be Easter and lots of chocolates to buy the kiddies...but this chocolate bunny may not last that long... For Week 41 it is a colour challenge 'Citrus' sponsored by Sunshine Stamps. I've based my creation on a mini easel card only 7cm square, machine stitched the panels in black, so diddy but i like it and a matching tiny box to house a golden chocolate bunny. I love these type of challenges as they're quite general and there's no 'musts' or 'don'ts', so the paper used was such a tiny amount from HOTP Speckled Dots, normal black card as base, lovely Penny Black image fits nicely on this tiny creation and it's my entry for their #91 'easel card', used sketch from Sketch Saturday #93, ABC P for Paper Piecing (daisy), Cooking it up with Katie #12 'Decoupage, metal and any challenge', Creative Inspirations #51 Charms (used for stopper), Saturday Spotlight 'Friendships', used a fantastic sentiment from Elzybells new Fervour set sent by Elizabeth, many thanks! It's absolutely gorgeous, love them all. Hope you can join in with us this week at CRAFT, bye for now.

Wednesday 10 March 2010

Meet Lucy with Ladybug(s). I just love these images simply because they're not an image on their own but actually something is happening around them, hope it makes sense! Gorgeous, gorgeous image from Motivet for their challenge, was fortunate to win them, so another big thanks to the Motivet company, used some papers from DCWV, they're old now but can't let them got to waste, green flower wrapping is from some flowers my hubby bought me for Valentines Day, I've recycled for A Spoonfull of Sugar #94 Recycle, used a simple hand punch for the swirls but as you can guess it jammed up the punch so had to cut some bits by hand, lovely Basic Grey paper flowers tinged with some Vivid Vintage Green ink pad from QVC, middle bit dotted by hand, sentiment from See D's set and for the Kaboodle Doodles #26 Happy Birthday. See you tomorrow for the CRAFT challenge post I'm guest designing for!

Monday 8 March 2010

Happy Monday to all! My creation for today is a fab digi image from Dustin Pike, great man and so generous that this freebie is from his blog and onto their Doodle Dragon Studio #5 which is... you can probably guess is St. Patricks Day, used the sketch from Sketch and Stash #30, using this new image and teal ribbon, old papers from Summer Driggs d/loads and a few scraps from other cards, Cute Card Thursday #102 Lucky Green, Crafty Catz #22 Shades of Green, Quixotic #16 Leave it out!, not sure if the clover leaf is a leaf...Allsorts #42 is Just for Men. I've used a mixture of Copic and Koh i Noor pencils on this one, round sentiment from Studio G stamp, hope you like and thankyou for taking the time to visit!

Sunday 7 March 2010

Meet Patches the bunny. Happy Sunday to all, the sun is shining and feeling very warm but outside there's crisp frost everywhere, and as usual my Sunday post consists of a creation for Designed 2 Delight Digital Stamps. Faith is so generous that every week she gives out a freebie digi image for players who take part in her challenges and upto date I've collected them all!!! My creation is from old pink paper from my stash and a scrapling, made two tiny baskets out of 10.5 cm square pink paper which is sooo easy with no gluing and slight cutting, found this type of box in Paula Pascual's first book. Used Sunburst Fiskars punch for the handles, orange tissue paper for the cushionning of the chocolate bunnies, they really do look snug and warm, just peering out. So Kaboodle Doodles #25 are looking for Fancy Folds and Stamp Something challenge is 'Something Girly', as these are for small children deliberately not added any brads but could easily attach some with blooms where the handle meets the basket base. Hope all is well in blogland and a quick thankyou to my regular viewers to my blog, I'm so glad my counter is going up.

Friday 5 March 2010

Another easel card. This time for quite a few challenges...used the fab sketch from Create 4 Fun #9, really really beautiful new Lilibean digi image Clover, butterfly wishes from Pollycraft and they're asking for #35 Distressing, Digital Tuesday #48 Scallops, Charisma Cardz #9 Fairies, Lili of the valley #48 is Easel card, Totally papercrafts #6 Mothers day/ Special lady, Crafty calendar #6 Flower Power, YNS #11 'Big Bow', Flutterby Wednesday #99 is a Photo Inspiration and Creative Inspirations #50 Lace, Pins and Pearls, made my own pearly pin on the bow. Yes, I got them all in one card, wonderful paper is from a Crafty Individuals pad, some rhinestones, metallic pink gel pen, cream lace from stash, sentiment from Popcorn the Bear set. Wishing you all a sunny weekend, it looks like it will be here!

My card is a shaped pop up one, used the gorgeous Denny Dragon from Pink Gem Designs, they ofcourse have their own challenge blog now. Yippeee! The challenges I'm entering this one into are Polka Doodle #8 shaped card, Allsorts #41 card/gift for mothers day, Fab N Funky #13 Its all in the shape, A spoonfull of sugar #93 Beads (I think I got one), Papertake Weekly, Creative Card Crew 'it's a celebration', and Simon Says mothers day/ Girly. Dustin's challenge 4 is asking for 'Go Girly' and ofcourse dragons can be girls too, Charisma Cardz # 8 'Birthday Card, must include candle' and Saturday Spotlight with Hidden Potential #20 is CAS 'clean and simple'. I hope this is clean, I tried to keep it simple and there were less brain cells used on this card so I was very happy! Backing paper is from The Creative Cottage Home Sweet Home d/loads, handcut shape, text is a stamp from The Greeting Farm Wishing Tree, coloured with my Koh-i-noors. Thankyou for visiting today!
