Last day of the month! And it's Halloween, if you're celebrating please stay safe! Today I've a card for the Ribbon Girls #2 Red & Green, used the teen image from Sarah Kay, just love colouring her...so easy as she's very well illustrated, backing paper is from the lovely talented Martine (a freebie), sentiment is a freebie from a past magazine d/load, found some fabby sparkly ribbon from years ago, a bag full of pre-made red ribbons and sequins today. Challenges entered are ABC Christmas V vertical, well I've used a slimline card, I bought so many packs when I started crafting, don't think it could get any more vertical than this and used their 1st sketch, Bah Humbug is Presents, Christmas Card Challenges is Candy Canes (look closely at the sentiment, r's repesent canes) and OSAAT is Christmas Modern. Hope everyone is enjoying a fab Sunday...the clocks went back, an extra hour of rest and i wonder if there are crafters out there doing an extra hour of crafting to catch up, don't miss my candy in the side bar if you'd like some free goodies, good luck!

Friday 29 October 2010

Welcome Crafty Bloggers! As promised here is my candy for a lucky person to win. I missed my 2nd Blogaversary in June this year, reached over 25,000 hits since then, so it's celebration time! I do like to give something back to the blogging world of crafters as anyone who visits regularly and reads my posts would know I've won a fair share of candies myself and this candy to one of you has something for men, ladies and kids. It consists of Daisy & Dandelion sheet of clear stamps 'Marshmallow does DIY', lovely laces, navy cord, pink paper flowers and selection of handstamped images in Memento ink. Oooh nearly forgot 2 stamps from Crafters Companion...I won a large bundle of stamps, Sooo generous these wonderful people are, there were some duplicates, too much for me to keep so they're included as well.

What do you have to do? This is the hard bit...leave me a comment here on this post, open to all, you must come back to see if you've won, draw closes Friday 19th November 6pm GMT and the best of luck!

Thursday 7 October 2010

It's Thursday. It's also time to enter the Designed 2 DElight challenge with this beautiful apples image. Faith is soooo good to us crafters and I love trying out new stuff each week. This time when I saw the image I thought about some jotter pads I'd bought from the Range when it opened in our town. I made the front cover from some red card, picked out some dotty vintage look paper from The Shabby Princess d/load, die cut some red scraps with Baby Face Dies in my Cuttlebug, added some string if the recipient wants to hang it on a hook in the kitchen. Never made anyhting like this before so was quite pleased with it, challenges entered are MAWTT #67 Anything but a card, Crafty Sentiments #38 Autumn colours as is Kaboodle Doodle #41 and Charisma Card #40. I've been picking the last few of the apples on our tree and it seemed so fitting when I made this shopping list pad, hope it's inspired someone out there, bye until next time!
