Hello. It's the start of the weekend, I've still got lots to do...it's in my head yet to materialise. I hope you all are okay and keeping well. My set consists of a heat stamped candle and matching card. Stamp is from Holly Hobbie 'nature walk', came free with a magazine and has lots of other clear stamps on the sheet. Coloured with Promarkers, sentiment is from Elzybells, tiny heart punch used, pearl and ribbon from Meiflower.

Challenges entered LIM ( just the card entered), Crazy, As you like it (cas..why..mainly I don't have to find papers to cover the wonderful white), Natalie & Amy and Promarkers. Enjoy a fab weekend.

I'm back! Hi crafty bloggers...I've not been around much lately...several reasons...mainly losing my mojo to craft. I had to get into gear as it's a friend's birthday coming up next week and I knew what she would really like....a candle. A lovely friend for well over 20 years and she'd do anything for you. I simply think she's one in a million, always chirpy, jolly, ready to give anyone sound advice and whisk away your troubles. Perfect human and kind friend. As you can see digi image from the lovely Bugaboo stamps, and yes she really has purple hair, digi paper from Crafts Beautiful website, handle ribbon from Meiflower, some gold coloured recycled elastic for bow and tie around cellophane wrap. There is a bit of glitter on the bag image on her earrings, some tiny gems on the candle one too. The sentiment came with the image. Below you'll see where the bag was made from and a fab tut on the Crafty Sentiments site.

I think I must be attracted to paper people...my local newsagent gave me a rather large box of large envelopes free!!! He said they take away the unused cards but not the envelopes so I said 'yes please, I'll have them'. Ofcourse I gave him some cas cards to sell in return for his kindness.

My very first heat stamped candle.

Now I've got over the worst of learning 'how to' I feel a collection of candle presents will be on here in the coming posts. I'm so glad I gave it a try and I know she'll be over the moon as she loves candles in her home. Now onto some challenges...I know I've missed a lot, but here it goes. Catch the bug, Creative Inspirations, CAGI, CCC, Scribble & Scrap, Cards Galore, CYP, Glitter n sparkle, Bunny Zoes, Sir Stampalot, Crafty Calendar, Crafty Hazelnuts Patterned. I hope everyone is well and in good health, I shall look forward to making some visits to blogs before I make a start on my next little project, bye for now.
