Cute Card Thursday challenge # 66 is 'Wheely good fun' and I've used this little car image from Crafters Companion 'Boys' set and the 'cool dude' sentiment too! The 'let's celebrate' text is a stamp from See D's range. Well, I've followed the sketch over at Kaboodle Doodles challenge # 8 and used their paper as the backing from the 'pink and blue' range. Stars I've punched out and white penned them and if you look under the car the sentiment is from American Crafts range of clear stamps. I think this card is another definite one for the Post Pals, there are so many kids there who love the colour 'red'. This one will be going to a special little boy! Hope all is well in blogland and thankyou for coming to browse around, I'm going to try and get my blogaversary candy post up soon, so hopefully I'll get to read some lovely comments. Bye for now.

A Spoonfull of Sugar # 57 is 'Weddings' this week and also ABC challenge 'T for Two Tone'. Well what can I say except that my computer and printer both are feeling the heat wave we're having. I've had a tough time this morning, the paper I wanted to print out wouldn't so I made my own with a colour sheet I'd printed out a couple of years ago and stamped it with red ink pad using a heart See D's stamp from the Celebration Pictures range and as you can guess my two tones are crimson/red and gold. This is a large card (A4 folded in half) and gold pearlescent paper used as the backing, couple image has been heat embossed using black Versacolour pigment ink and clear embossing powder and is from A Muse Artstamps (Elegant Pose) and sentiment is from Funstamps again heat embossed, finished off with thin width cream ribbon, made two bows and three red gems to finish! I shall be attending a wedding in two weeks so this one is for that. Hope you like this one... enjoy your day whatever it is you're doing, 'til next time.

Hope you like this one and have a good weekend.

A Spoonfull of Sugar #54 'sketch' and I've made a male card out of it, using mainly some DCWV papers, some background stamps from Simon Says Stamps 'MOD design', the sentiment is from the computer and purposely I've smudged marks on it to make it look 'scruffy', image is ofcourse Forever Friends, used glitter gel pen for some metal. Pinking scissors used for zig-zag on paper, everything else from own stash. The big buttons are the ones included in my mini blog candy. I'd like to enter this into the Simon Says challenge blog which is to use Tim Holtz's products but after watching some of his demo videos I feel I've missed out on so much, so will be getting some distress inks to try out for the future. So I've tried my best with this by going over the embossed dots with old ink pad and also filing the half-circle to create distress feel, hope it counts. Have fun crafting 'til next time!
