My first christmas card in spring. Hi everyone, Wow, the very nice weather has kept me away from crafting, super super sunshine although too much in abundance makes me ill. Nevertheless my card is to cool down and look forward to christmas before spring has even sprung. I won this cute 'Ollie with gingerbread' stamp from Janet over at Pink Gems, Andy was gorgeous too but I needed something with a mouth and Janet said very kindly I could swap 'many thanks Janet'. Coloured with Promarkers, cut out, added the same stars he comes with on tiny foam pieces, yummy ribbon from Crafty Ribbons, paper is from Nikky's Creative Christmas paper boutique cd..gorgeous papers on there, buttons from Fantastic Ribbons, die cut round label from Baby Face dies and peel off sentiment from QVC long time ago and finished with remnant of red ribbon.

As this image is used for a christmas card the challenges entered are quite festive but I'm, sure Ollie can be used for an ordinary everyday card. Hi, what a glorious day it is, wonderful bright sunshine! Hope last nights frost didn't catch too many of the tender plants out there. Onto my card which is from the HM 'cake' sheet, great to colour..used my koh-i-noor pencils and blended, top sentiment from American Crafts, bottom one is from LOTV stamp, paper is from Bearly Mine (Donna) freebie, lovely, lovely buttons from Fantastic Ribbons ( I won some loveliness button bag from their blog for just commenting 'thankyou so much, there's so much to get through). Pink twine and pearls from Meiflower and used the EK success butterfly layering punch!

Hi to the blogging world, well I've not posted since Tuesday but I assure you ...been busy in the gardening section (at home), but I definitely thought this was apt for all the mothers who have a birthday tomorrow as well as being Mothering Sunday here in the UK. I hope as a mother that I have given our children love, hope, honesty, maturity, guidance, to prosper even when all else fails and to forgive those who have wronged. In return I only hope they will carry this through their own children for decades to come. Happy first day of the week crafters! Wow, what a beautiful summery day yesterday that I didn't have a moment to post this, too good to stay indoors, so hubby was patching up the roof on the shed and me just admiring it from a distance ;))) Well, it's been a while since I entered Nutcrafters # and as I have their Pink Frosting stamp set I just had to use it, coloured with Promarkers as are the Phlox die cut flowers, dotty paper from Anice free d/load, you may notice the fence which is a Martha Stewart punch has 2 different fence pattern, I was experimenting with it by not totally placing it on the pattern grid and shifting to create a different kind of fence, i think I've attached the one I was experimenting with instead of the one which was perfect, alas there's my mistake. The gem and fab luscious ribbon from Meiflower, super card items there, a must see!

Hi to a fab Friday! I must say 'hi' to my newest follower..thankyou for following. Today my creation is the remainder of a card where I chopped off some of the front to use for my last card yesterday. Digi image coloured with Promarkers is from Crafty Pad and beautiful it is too, so 'thankyou', used some script printed on some card from Pink Petticoat Think Pink set, cream lace and yellow posh ribbon from stash, my lovely new butterfly punch outs from yesterday (jsut loving this new punch from EK Success) colourised with Promarker and a tiny pearl from Meiflower.

Afternoon all, it's a sunny March day, lovely delightful sunshine although there is somewhat a slight chill in the air! Hope everyone is well...today I'd firstly like to say a big welcome to my latest follower and then to tell you I've had a little spend at the Glitter Pot by taking advantage of their free p&p and bought some replacement plates for my Cuttlebug..also from QVC bought the EK Success Layering Butterfly punch which was on the TV couple of days ago.Well what can I say, arrived this morning. I only had the basic mini hand butterfly punch (the ones you start out with as a beginner, very inexpensive) so I thought it was about time I treated myself and I'm so glad I went for this one, so much scope there, as you can see I've used 2 layers here on my card, at only £15 I thought a bargain and then p&p added on was still under £20! Can't complain really, and there are some more new goodies on here too, the gorgeous ribbon and those pearls are from Meiflower (won from the Crafty Pad blog along with so much more) 'many thanks!' There's so much on their website, you're simply spoilt for choice and very good value.

I've used an old PB stamp 'letters & flowers', wonderful for a mum, grandma, special lady who cares about you. Used Promarkers to colourise the butterflys punched out from recycled greetings card and also the bow which was orginally white.

Happy Monday! Wow, beautiful sunshine coming through my lounge as I type..hope everyone has had a restful weekend with family and loved ones, mine just flew by with a mini spring clean but only one room got done ;( and this card and bookmark was all ready to post on here but just couldn't get a moment free to myself. I've used the Simply Sassy SN image 'bookclub' by Krista, great to colour, this will go for a Post Pals child trying to get back into school after suffering many obstacles, hope she will like it!

I used some kraft-like card from my grocers, great sturdy card..some offcuts of paper, inexpensive doily, stamped sentiment and swirls in walnut stain ink, coloured with Promarkers, finished with CC Designs Phlox die flowers from My Mums Craft Shop.

So, I'm hoping to have a little potter around the garden, see what further damage the slugs have done to my hubbys yellow crocuses and looking forward to the daffodils coming out any day soon! Welcome to all, I've made this small card from the back of a christmas card (pic below). I couldn't throw it away as it was clean white textured card of a good weight. Used these cute meeces from PB 'hugs' sheet with the sentiment, gave the daisy some spots, coloured with Promarkers. The top corner was a little crumpled so i gave it a fancy feature!

So only a few challenges..Less is more 'don't scrap it', Penny Black & more 3rd entry 'bingo..yellow, white & black', Allsorts 3rd entry and Simon Says 'anything goes'. Thanks for the kind comments they're always appreciated.

Hello crafters, welcome to another dose of my creations.. would you believe it...I only just won some wonderful Bugaboo images last week from Come and get it challenge blog 'many thanks' and I've loved colouring 'JJ Tequila & shoes' (comes complete with sentiment) with Promarkers, papers from Nikky's Double Sprinkles of Kraft, used MS doily lace punch, top sentiment is an old See D's stamp, used a die cut as base of flower, attached the paper flower, added a bit of scrap ribbon and a silver heart charm, some sheer ribbon and pearls to finish. This card is for a dear friend who doesn't get to party much due to her own business commitments, a very cheerful person who always brightens the dullest of days and is so much appreciated!!! I hope she lets her hair down on her birthday, she deserves it so much.

Good day to all! My creation is using some recycled brown card (very sturdy) from my grocers, i love using this as base card as it usually is in very good condition and far too good to throw away...using these friendly meeces from Penny Black 'hugs' stamp sheet stamped with walnut stain distress ink, coloured with Promarkers, but you can hardly see it :( green paper from Michelle Coleman 'wild sorbet' free d/load but the link isn't there anymore, blue is Polka Doodle scrap, doily from a pack from a pound store which i forgot about until a clear out at the weekend. Flowers made from CC Designs Phlox dies. Oooh the sentiment is HM Birthdays, cake stamp sheet.

It's Friday everyone so I hope there is plenty of restful crafting ahead! I have a jumper which still needs finishing, everytime I see the bag I somehow edge a little closer to my craft table...does it sound like I'm avoiding picking up my knitting needles.....mmm...maybe, but it will have to be made up as promised before the gardening season starts as I do like to rummage around the garden with pots and plants. So with my card..does she look like there's been a proposal by this lovely lady and the handsome chap has at last said 'yes', well you know it's a leap year and the woman gets to ask the man for a hand in marriage!!! To me it doesn't make sense but chappies be aware 'you can't stall the big day forever'. Digi image is from the Ladybug Craft Ink, gorgeous drawings and I will slowly make my way round to using each one in the fab set (they're having a blog hop too), I've created a background around the images, used a tree stamp (free with a mag) and doodled my own fence, coloured with Promarkers, digi papers from Polka Doodle and Kaboodle Doodle old papers, kraft is from the wrapping of a present, found an epoxy heart, sentiment from Paper Pretties set, 3 charms on a piece of ribbon..key and horse shoe from Crafty Emma's, heart part of an old candy! Placed some lace which I frilled first..I've seen this done on many cards, thought I'd have a go too.

Hi, what a drizzly day today...so dark and grey but i managed these pics somehow. I won some very beautiful digi d/loads from the fab Crafty Purple Frog challenge blog last week 'thankyou' from the super talented Ching-Chou Kuik and is a decoupage Dragonflies sheet, there are so many beautiful fantasy ladies in Pyramage too, if you have time, go and see for yourself :)))) Hope you like my little creation, as you can see I've used white embossed background as it shows off these gorgeous lovelies more but there's nothing wrong with DP's if you wanted to use those. Hand stamped sentiment. These sheets are wonderful to cut round infront of the tv when you're made to sit with family and a sign round your neck saying 'No cardmaking'! Well my hands can't keep still for long so this was perfect.

There are so many layers..some bits i kept to one side for another 2 cards at least.

Would you believe this charm I kept from my daughters belt, so many on the chain that i just couldn't bear to throw them away with her trousers. So solid, I'm glad i kept them all.

Happy Tuesday! My creation today is using this fab Simply Sassy 'artistic goddess' stamp from Sugar Nellie by Krista Smith..I'm just loving these super images..their style is just unique and i really do love 'big' hair. Coloured with Promarkers, gorgeous papers from Nikky's cd Sprinkles of Kraft, the base is recycled brown card from an old picture mount that i've saved for a long time. Doodled my own swirls with sakura white pen, added pearls and as i followed the sketch over from Sugar Nellie I made a quick tag from the bit of card left over, added some pink ribbon and recycled some saddle stitch brown and below you'll see the message with a lovely charm from Crafty Emma's store.

Well, I've had so much fun as i do with all SN stamps and particularly when I'm able to use up stashed away recycled elements. Good day to you all! Hope everyone isn't suffering too much from Google/blogger issues etc and that you're enjoying crafting. My card for today is a freebie digi image from Squiggle Stamps, 'thankyou' this is perfect for a little girl who's not having a good time at the moment..so it will be in the post tomorrow. Having said that, 'daisy with flowers' is coloured with Promarkers, lots of dies used..the Phlox ones from CC Designs are my faves at the mo from My Mums Craft Shop, the leaves are Marianne Creatables Flora 2, and a punch from Martha Stewart. I've inked up a sentiment from the many Personal Impressions stamps bought long time ago from QVC.

I've found a new dies challenge blog through Bevs blog so I'm entering in Die-ing for a challenge 'any dies', Squiggle Stamps 'white space' and ofcourse Simply less is more 'punches and dies'. Not overpowered today with lots of entries as the new challenge only allows upto 3 other challenges. Hope i've understood that right, will try to keep up with that blog...another one on my list replacing a few that finished last year for good. So moving on we are and I thank all the nice people who stop by to leave such brilliant comments, soooo appreciated!

Hello to a fab thursday, just went over to Crafty Pad and found out I've won some fab goodies from Meiflower, wow, I nearly bought some before christmas but looking at all my stash i had to stop myself even though the goodies there are so yummy to use on my cards. So watch out, I didn't win the Euro lottery but this made my day today, many thanks! Would you believe the strips, stems and flowers on this card were uninked until today from Elzybells stamp, I'm on a venture to ink up unused stamps, they were stamped in walnut stain plus an inexpensive blue inkpad, sentiment is one from Personal Impressions, small ribbon bow, glamorous dust on the flowers and i also stamped a petal coming away..hope it doesn't look 'too weepy'.

So this one is 5 challenges..firstly Less is more 'one layer plus stripes', Sir Stampalot 'in the garden', MAWTT 'get well' as is Party time Tuesdays, and Trimmies 'no designer papers'. Hi, I think I've left this one a bit late but might just get it in for the LOTV challenge who have a very simple sketch and for a change I've used lots of layers and a very beautiful paper doily which was sent in a candy by the lovely Katrina..she has a wonderful blog, recently got married and enjoys everyhting vintage..pop over and have a look for yourselves..definately a talented lady with a very talented family!!! Now I didn't know how I would use one of these doilies but the LOTV sketch and their wonderful inspiration has helped me lots. So it's on black cardstock, used remants of d/loads from the previous cards I made the past week, image ofcourse is Thomas with big flowers from LOTV and i don't tire of using him at all. He's a wonderful kitty isn't he and coloured with Promarkers.

Happy Valentines Day if your celebrating today...wow it'll be Mothers Day soon so another reason to be jubilant!!! For today I've used a Nutcrafters freebie digi on this bookmark for my hubby...if you read my blog regularly you'll know I've mentioned before that my hubby keeps receipt stubs as markers in books. So slowly I'm making a little collection of bookmarks for him and today is perfect for a tiny gift to place on his favourite reading page. Paper is d/load from Crafts Beautiful website Sizzix d/loads. Coloured with Promarkers, posh red ribbon, black lace and button from draw and silver gems for a bit of bling.

Hi, can you tell I made this card with a poorly eye..yes I feel like a pirate today..must be the crafting that's been going on all this week on here..it's thanks to all you followers who continue to leave such nice comments and this is so greatly appreciated that I want to show more!!! I'm glad to say also this week I found the Saturated Canary blog through one of my followers (Mina, thanks)..I love reading Krista's posts, such a down to earth lady, so much appreciation for life and what it brings, I admire so much how she writes.

So onto my card which uses the love freebie digi image from the very talented Krista, coloured with Promarkers, some Polka Doodle Sugar Birdie cd paper scraps, doodled around with my fine liner, sentiment is from a Personal Impressions old set from QVC..must remember to use these more often as there's some I've not even touched, the flowers are made from CC Designs Phlox dies. Finished off with some glamour dust on those wonderful gold locks.
