Good afternoon. It's a fine sunny day where I am although a little chilly...the sun does wonders for your motivation, it certainly worked for me the last couple of days! I have this cute digi penguin couple to show and tell today from Paula at Pollycrafts, it was, yes you guessed it FREE along with the fab sentiment which I turned into my tag. Put some pink mascara with my glitter pen on the ladies eyelashes, but i don't think it can be seen on the pic. The papers are a story to tell in themselves...when I stumbled upon a few websites giving free d/loads ( a few years back now) not realising I shouldn't use ordinary copier paper i went a bit mad, ink was running out quickly, more than usual as the paper was soaking it up, printed loads from a few various magazine sites and i'm trying to use them up now. I simply can't bin them because they were off the new printer which came with it's own expensive inks. So that is the explanation and the papers are from DoCrafts website, oh my word the paper looks extremely thin, the embossing is showing through. I think I shall enter in 5 challenges Pollycraft 'It's chill time', Bee Crafty Christmas 2, Totally papercrafts Tag it!, sketch from Stamp Challenges and Crafty Catz 'Spot & Stripes. There's not many entries to my candy, so if anyone wants to enter you're more than welcome! Back in a bit.

A good day to all! Faith has given away the most gorgeous Laughing Giraffes image this week, there's single ones in the bundle too, will give them a try at a later date. This is also for their sister challenge Double Delight. I used the sketch over at Truly Scrumptious with option of petals, pearls & pins (which I've made myself with some dressmaking pearls), used the fabby colour theme from Wags N Whiskers challenge Black, White and Sepia (wasn't too sure what that colour looked like so followed the teams ideas)...so glad they let us use any image, I used a digi wreath frame from Paulette as is the fab sentiment for Digital Tuesday Frame plus digi, added some butterflies for Flutter by Wednesdays, entry for Simon Says Are you all white, Cooking it up with Katie is Swirly (embossing folder), Black (sentiment is in black) and Texture is in the embossing and lace). Lastly CRAFT is Dry Embossing, so there we have it...looking closely the lace and pins look more like a butterfly too, back tomorrow with another!

Hi and good day to you all! Today I've got this wonderful digi image from Meljens Designs, freebie from their blog...it's a little mini card which could easily be a tag with a present for someone really really special who has braved through the horrible disease Cancer. As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month i've seen so many creations dedicating posts and cards to very special people who have/are going through treatments and many many hours of decision making I'm sure. Paula is sooooo generous that every Friday there's a freebie waiting to be snatched!!!! This spooky cat has gone dotty with my white Sakura pen, i was 'cleaning' away the purple marks that had leaked out from the image and had an idea of a spotty cat, pumpkin papers from Crafters Companion website.
