Another challenge, this time at Tracy's blog which is here, and it is here where I bought the swiss dots embossing folder and the Martha Stewart doily lace punch. Best purchases I made and very good service, love both items to bits. Pink is from own stash, flowery paper has been embossed in the 'stylized flowers' CB folder and is from Funky Fairys free downloads 'Doodlementals', used fiskars decorative scissors for corners, image is from Pink Gem Designs 'Denny Dragon' very cute image, popped on foam squares and sentiment is from Crafters Companions 'girls' sheet. Glamour dust added for a touch of sparkle, hope you like, this challenge ends soon but you still have a couple of days if you want to enter, and there are three prizes, so how could I resist!

Stampavie challenge # 4 is 'light blue/turquoise and brown' and Kaboodle Doodles challenge # 6 is a beautiful sketch and ofcourse I've used the blue download from their 'Morris Dance' papers. Image is 'my sweet lili' from Sarah Kay, used the CB 'stylized flowers' embossing folder and also the 'swiss dots' one, brown paper is from Summer Driggs downloads, swirl is from a normal punch and is tucked under, sentiment is one of my earliest stamps and is from Funstamps, it's heat embossed with Opaque White embossing powder from Personal Impressions, buttons and thread to match from stash and finished with white gel pen. I actually made this last week and nearly forgot to put it here, so now here it is. Hope everyone is enjoying and making the most of this gorgeous weather, bye until next time.
Thank you Simon Says Stamps, your stamps are wonderful! Heidi sent me my win from one of their blog candys. I won two sets, MOD Designs Background set and also the Savour Sweet Cupcakes, they're yummy and can't wait to make more creations with them. They stamp beautifully and if you by chance like me didn't ink one up properly, just stamp over them again and you are a saved as they are clear stamps! I can see myself using them over and over again, so a big thankyou Heidi. There is so much to see in their online store and they are brilliant people to be sponsoring so many challenges, so keep up the good work Simon Says Stamps, couldn't just go away without showing you what I made, hope you like. There's paper piecing on the first, heat embossing on the second, third is a gatefold, and the fourth has a circle cut out. Many thanks again and have yourself a very bright day, it's a bank holiday weekend here!

Friday Sketchers # 52 is a sketch by the fabulously talented Claudia! Wow, I whipped this up in no time as the two semi-circles were a circle from a previous card, everything was already printed out and I was ready to go... crafting! Papers from Funky Fairy Inspirations free downloads, blue card from stash, image is 'Denny in love' by Pink Gem Designs, so cute and ribbon which is a little stretchy from one of my old QVC kits. Hope you like this one, any comments appreciated as they count for my blogaversary next month ;)

Happy Birthday! A Spoonfull of Sugar is a year old and they are celebrating with prizes this week for 5 winners, so any celebration card is the request for challenge # 52. I've gone with the sketch from Sketch Saturday # 51 which conveniently fits Penny Black Saturday challenge #49 which is a recipe '3 flowers, 2 papers and a charm/brad. Image is PB 'hugs' and these hedgies are too cute as if they're telling one another the good news, chalking around edges, papers are both from DCWV, flowers are stamps from Crafters Companions 'Girls' sheet, text from computer 'Rickles' font, die cut with 'Baby Face' in CB and piece of braid from haberdashers I visited last weekend, brad I found in my kids stash. Glamour dust added for a bit of sparkle! The pic is a little wonky as the wind here kept blowing my card over and me with it. Hope all is well in blogland, it's lovely to see so many new challenges starting out there, it's hard to keep up at times and i do like to give my support to the ones I first started out with last year, there are my faves of course which I definitely want to participate in... and shall continue to...Bye for now.

Well, what dull weather here! Happy Birthday Friday Sketchers! Challenge 51, what a beautiful sketch it is and I managed to use a bit of Basic Grey 'Sultry' paper which was in my candy. The winner got brand new packs. They are scrumptious and top quality! There's a lot of Cuttlebug embossing on here using 'stylized flowers' and 'swiss dots'. I have added a sentiment on here as there was a lot of space on that side. The brown is Summer Driggs download, the other brights are from a cheap Tesco's pad, the colours I picked originally from BG paper but only decided to use a miniscule of this wonderful paper. This card is for Just Magnolia challenge # 4 ' In Stitches' where you can use faux or real and ofcourse use a Magnolia image, 'baby tilda's' soother has Anita's 3D gloss on it, doesn't show well on my pic. I used my sewing machine, white in the bobbin and bright cerise on top and i think it looks ok. Posh flowers are from a mix of candies and ribbon and brads from stash, text made on the computer. Hope everyone has had a good day, bye for now!

Papertake Weekly challenge is a lovely sketch to follow and Cute Card Thursday challenge # 59 'Happy Mail' to give to a poorly child and make their day. So image is from Pink Gems Designs (first time I've used this one after my large spend there) and is called 'Jack with ball', sentiment is made on the computer and matted onto silver mirri board, 'goal' is a stamp from See D's range, black and red card from stash, black check paper is from Summer Driggs free downloads. As you can see there is a lot of matting and layering on this one and not the usual type I do but I'm so impressed that I hope the little boy who receives this is a red footie fan, so I better go and find out which little angel this card is going to. What a kind thought to send a card to cheer a child up and put a smile on a cute face. On the other hand if you would like to win my candy it is open until Monday 11th May 6pm GMT. Hope you all have a great weekend, bye for now!

Funky Fairys challenge # 15 is ' get well card or gift' so I've stuck to a card and ofcourse used one of their freebie downloads 'doodlementals', worked it with the Sketch Saturday challenge # 49, Penny Black Saturday challenge # 47 which is to' use 3 shapes' , I've used a circle, an arch and sentiment rectangle and I've used the two hugging mice from the 'Hugs' sheet, and also this card qualifies for the ABC challenge 'M is for metallic' ,I've used silver charm with some silver metallic ribbon. The daisy i've 3D, used the Debbie Moore 'fireworks' punch, sentiment made up with tiny alphabet stamps, ribbons from stash. Feel free to leave a comment, it's always appreciated and just to let you know if you want some candy, I have some but it closes on Monday! Be quick!

Just Magnolia challenge are on week 3 with a sketch and I thought I'd use Tilda by the sea again. Papers are from the very kind Andrea from Kaboodle Doodles downloads 'Morris Dance', corner stamped with a part of Stempelglede Grunge scroll stamp before I cuttlebugged with swirls and birds embossing folder, the pale blue paper is quite thick from own stash, MS doily lace punch used, fibres used on the right and gems to finish! This card also fits A Spoonfull of Sugar challenge # 50 which is 'touchy, feely' and the fibres are raised so I think they fit. Hope you like, and a quick thank you to people who have chosen to follow me, my candy is a simple one with no conditions attached and ends Monday 11th May. Thank you for visiting and a fabby day to you!

It's a bank holiday here in the UK, and it's candy time! As promised at 5,000 hits here is my offering of a candy to say thankyou to all those bloggers who have visited me since i started blogging last year. I love visiting blogs, seeing new creations, talent, didn't think for one moment this blogging world existed but glad I found it.
So compared to some blog candies mine is a mere crumb and not so huge: Basic grey 6 x 6 pads in Sultry and Cupcake and some lace, pretty ribbon and a wallet full of stamped images. This is the main prize and four others will receive a selection of stamped images from me. So what do you have to do?
No conditions to follow, please leave your comment and come back in a week Monday 11th May to see if you've won. Simple! Hope I've not left anything out and yes I'll post worldwide.

THIS CANDY IS NOW CLOSED
Funky Fairys challenge # 14 is a sketch to follow this week and of course using Sharon's recent sweet freebie giveaway 'swirls' download, I've chosen the orange sheet, Simon Says challenge # which is a recipe '3 buttons, 2 papers -I've chosen a green scrap as my second, and 1 ribbon which is along the bottom', and another challenge this fits is Cute Card Thursday # 58 'mirror, mirror' that is the mirri board behind the sentiment which reads 'just stoppin' by to say Hi!' in the rickles font. My image last but not at all the least is new from
Doodle Palace, a new digi stamp company in Texas run by Dee and Robyn and I was stamped by them as a cute blog, so a big thankyou to them as I received a 'Henry the horse' digi download for free. Wow I was so happy to read this on my blog comment last week and was a total surprise as you just don't know who is on the lookout for fabby creations. Henry has been chalked and a mixture of w/colouring used on the rest, most of what is on this card is from stash, the ribbon flowers are made from 4 inch lengths with a running stitch on the edge of the length and all gathered up and secured behind and a button sewn in the middle. Hope you like this one, the image printed out much larger than I thought, so better to chalk, but I'll try to get a smaller image once I've resized for another creation. Sorry it's a long post but i had to give alot of credits where they're due, hope you're still awake at the end of this post, candy to come in a bit! See you soon.

High Hopes challenge # 28 which is 'think outside the card'. So it's took me all week inbetween other challenges to come up with this one as I really want to exhaust my one and only stamp given to me by Nicole (past guest diva for high hopes). It is a door knob hanger but we don't have knobs and instead have silver handles which aren't at all nice to photograph. So this is hanging on my dolphin ornaments tail :) She-baa the sheep is w/coloured with my Koi's as usual, sentiment 'come back later...sleepy time' is from computer generated using Curlz font, flowers from Anitas stamps same with the background butterfly stamp. As you can see I've used MS doily lace punch in a different way, hope you like the inspiration as I don't have any nestabilities, instead wanted to decorate the circle part. Anyway it's friday, yippeeee, hope your weekend is as sunny as ours should be.
