Afternoon to all in blogland and what a chill there is in the air outside..today is time for the Less is more challenge which I've tried to keep up with and I just couldn't let this one slip by. Lovely sketch there and I've used this fab wooden stamp by Penny Black 4035K Letters & Flowers with a brown ink pad and used it on slightly textured cardstock, very sturdy card that I'd forgotten about, slightly glittered and added a tiny ribbon bow. The sentiment stamp came free with a mag.

So there's 5 challenges..Less is more 'sketch', Penny Black 'floral frenzy', MAWTT 'blooming marvellous', Paperplaytime 'anything goes and they're having a blog hop too! and laslty my 2nd entry for Secret Crafter 'ribbons'. Hi and a very warm welcome today. I had an idea to make this card for Less is more challenge but I've missed it and was an aperture :( Never mind there's plenty more it will fit..I used an elegant 'flowered heart' digi image freebie from Cardmad fairies blog, printed straight onto my card, carefully cut it out and stuck it down on the inside and decorated it, the front panel was then stamped with sentiment, embossed, ribbon from Crafty Ribbons attached and a friend sentiment layered and put on foam squares, tiny button added on bow.

Coloured with Promarkers, gorgeous dig i paper from Michele 'thankyou', home made pins, die cuts from Marianne Creatables, sentiment is stamped with a freebie from a mag.

Another middle of the week... and today I've got this cute Whoopsi Daisy digi image freebie to show off, she's just made some jam, fabby for people who love making home made condiments, paper is scrap from previous recent cards and from Polka Doodle Sugar Birdies cd and so is that fab sentiment. Heart is from Spellbinders, die cut and embossed, image coloured with Promarkers.

Hi to a bright Monday! Yes it's me...and I'm still shrugging off those nasty bugs and desparately hoping for an end so i can do my crafting in one go. This girly set I'm pleased to say was brilliantly easy using the same Sugar Birdies CD from Polka Doodles (the boy one is under this post and was very well received). This one had to be made up ready to give by hand and love it to bits that I nearly kept it for myself to store kiddy cards in!!! The sentiment is a Penny Black stamped with walnut stain ink.

I just wanted to say i've had some trouble leaving comments at some blogs, not sure why but the blogs that open the tiny comment box are fine, so I wonder what it could be... my fave blogs where i usually like to leave some love may wonder why i've stopped but to reassure those lovely crafters i hope it is blogger to blame not me that's forgotten how to do things with my computer, oh well!

Morning and a big hi to all. It's been a long time since i posted anything, reason being we are still recovering from these never ending colds. Hopefully they'll all go away after they've toughened up the old immune systems!!! So, my project is a gift box with matching card using Polka Doodle Sugar Birdies CD...fantastic cd, absolutely all sorted out for a present. Everything is precoloured from there, just used the Penny Black sentiment stamp and some matching blue ric rac which I've had a long time not used. After alot of sniffles and tissue boxes used up, all finished, this will be hand given to a little fella well stocked with birthday cards and a few treats.

Good afternoon to all this fine Sunday. It seems a while since I posted a creation...the new year has brought all the bugs and viruses in our household and it seems everyone is unwell...but i managed to make this one using some New free stamps that came from Papercraft Inspirations issue 95 'country companions'. Really nice set of stamps although I had a bit of trouble getting them off the acetate, evrything stamped straight onto the card is from the set, coloured and blended with Koh i noor pencils, ribbon from Crafty Ribbons, lovely heart charm from the fantastic Emma ( won a voucher to spend there from their challenge blog and found some brilliant products, many thanks).

There are 10 challenges... Good afternoon. Today I've made a rather simple card using a new d/load paper from Anice and cut out the letters. The floral curved frame is a new stamp set that came free with a mag, coloured it with Promarkers, i wanted to put some glamour dust on the flowers but I've mislaid the tub, will sprinkle some on when i find it! So all in all, cutting, sticking and a little bit of stamping. Hope you find time to say thankyou for all those lovely pressies over the festive season too.

Happy New Year and a very good evening to all! The weather to the start of this brand new year is very treacherous at the moment with gale force winds, i do hope they die down soon. Onto my creation today is using a fab new digi image from Ladybugs Crafts Ink 'love and marriage' bench image ( i won the whole shebang on the blog hop release last year , yippeeee...thanks so much!!!) Paper is a freebie d/load from Jak, some old sparkly ribbon from a christmas cake, cream lace from stash, stamped heart with sentiment from Paper Pretties set ( love it)... I cut out the middle, image coloured with Promarkers and I just noticed a couple of black dot remnants on the male hunk!!!

Hi to all! My creation for today is a very long time coming...I've wanted to make one of these tea light candle cards but sadly not had extra time to work out how to make it...well after browsing several blogs I measured something that resembles it. Paper is a scrap from last years d/load from Martine, I really enjoyed using this fab Simply Sassy stamp 'Bookclub' from Sugar Nellie I won from their blog hop (many many thanks!), just fab as I am always looking for easy ideas to create and send to Post Pals (however this set I'll keep to hand give and will definitely make more Bookmarks to give out), the ribbon is recycled from a posh gift bag, blue bow I found in my stash, thin acetate used for tea light bit, fern is a punch and flowers are Marianne Creatable dies. Image coloured with Promarkers.

Morning all! Please don't worry...this is still Ribenaruby's blog, I hope evryone has had a good christmas and still enjoying the festivities into the New Year. I thought I'd show you my little knitting project since this has took time off my cardmaking, the cards have been scarce on here the last few weeks. It started out with 'I can knit that in a week, it's made with chunky wool', well two and a half months later it's arrived!!! The cardigan was a request from my teenage daughter and the last time i knitted up a full adult size jumper was 20 years ago for my husband!!! The brain cells are slowly deteroriating it looks like :( but I got to the end, she specifically requested longer in the arm as she wanted the cuffs up to her fingers.

Now my daughter cuts off labels that irritate the back of the neck...so i thought i'd use my tiny personalised christmas stamp with the santa on it from Scrapmagasinet but mask off the oval and santa just to reveal 'handmade by ruby' bit stamped in Memento ink...lightly tied with the same wool so she can easily remove it!

No challenges entered....but you may notice on this pic the addition of pockets...she said she specifically requested 'pockets', kids, what would you do without them. So there they are, knitted and sewn on with leftover wool and brain cells! I used a SIRDAR pattern 9259, Crofter Chunky, smallest size with a cream 'life chunky' wool by Stylecraft, 75% acrylic, 25% wool, needles 5 1/2 and 6 1/2 mm. Hope this has inspired some one out there to pick up your knitting needles and start practicing again, all in all a really simple pattern. My daughter loved it so much that she fell asleep on the sofa still wearing it. Have a great day!

Hello all merry bloggers! I needed some more extra cards for families...so i came up with this one to make into a batch...just a normal A5 piece of card, printed straight onto it with Lucida Handwriitng font (I always do a dummy test on copier paper first to see where it sits first to avoid wastage of valuable card), punched out snowflakes from received colour envelopes, used some twine, punched out tiny circles of scrap and a gem.

So challenges are many... Hi to all! The christmas holidays have started and the shopping is well underway. I needed some extra handmade cards but they had to be quick so I reached for Nikky's Paper Boutique Creative christmas CD...and wow there was something I was looking for...A christmas wreath. These are just perfect for family to family cards, pre-coloured printed straight out and cut around, came with a decoupage bit but i left it off as these had to be real quick, added a touch of twine and silver gem, there we have it. What a life saver!

Today my card is all about keeping warm...I used this lovely House Mouse image called 'yarn tales' and to me i thought they could be saying something to each other as the computer printed sentiment depicts. Hi everyone, I'm still here...over a week now since i made a card but i have a very good excuse of knitting a chunky cardigan for a loved one in my family and it's nearly finished...one sleeve to knit and the collar then I'll be done!!! Just incase you didn't know, I knit too and crochet aswell. It's clearly becoming a winter pastime now and maybe every year I can pass down a hand knitted jumper or cardi ;))) something you can't buy from the shops and means so much more. Anyaway onto my card which is a stamp free from a mag some years ago, the sentiment is quite tiny but comes along with other stamps on the little sheet too, coloured with Promarkers, hope you like it!

A happy 'middleof the week everyone'. My creation is featuring a digi image from one of the papercraft magazines which were free for a time. Printed this cute fairy off straight onto card and coloured with Promarkers, added some real bakers twine,die cut flower from marianne Creatables with the leaf die too, single pearl, some glamour dust added.

There's several challenges to this one, firstly...Ladybugs Crafts Ink which is very conveniently 'fairies' and I'd like to say a BIG 'thankyou' to them ...i won THE WHOLE SHEBANG on their new release blog hop...WOW!!! Hi all. Today is Remembrance Sunday and we as a family wherever we may be take time out to remember those who've lost their lives in previous wars and also in todays more modern conflicts. It is the least i can do personally to show my appreciation, to say 'thankyou' to those who've sacrificed their complete lives so that we can live in relative peace and harmony. Two minutes out of my life to observe this is very important to me and we must pass this onto our generations to come.

So with that said...onto my card which is using Cafe Lucy from Sparkels range of rubber stamps. This is the kind of stamp i could easily send to say 'let's meet up or just 'hi', it's wonderful to colour! Used my Promarkers, sentiment from American Crafts set from QVC. Slight dusting of glamour dust to finish.

Hi, my creation for today is using 'celebrating chloe' from Sparkles Creations, great stamp for all those celebratory birthdays, i stamped with walnut stain onto some thick card from my grocers, fab d/load paper from Creative Cottage which is no more but i still love their digi papers!!! Paper pieced the balloons, flowers from the digi paper kit too, sentiment is old See d's stamp. Image coloured with Promarkers.

Once opened, there's a chocolate bar...so it's sort of a chocolate wrapper, and I know this one will be appreciated by the recipient as this is one of her fave chocs!

Hello everyone, hope that all Bonfire celebrations went well and that all had tonnes of fun! Today my creation is a shaped one using the fab background layout from Nikky's Polka Doodle cd 'back to nature'. Love these so much, not much thinking required as into planning what papers i should use...everything is there (components) to complete your make. Made quite a few and are always well received, so thankyou Nikky for putting all your hard work into these fab creations for us crafters!!! The only thing is, i've used a fab digi image from Digi's with attitude but I'm unable to link up with them. This is a gorgeous giraffe, definitely with 'attitude'! Coloured with some of my newer Promarker colours, lifted with foam pads, round sentiment is from cd, used some animal pattern to coincide with the giraffe, stamped the other sentiment and finished with some lacey scrap & ribbon.

Nikky's paid so much attention to detail, the fence has a backing to it too! lovely jubbly!!!

This is the support to back onto the card itself, beautiful and is on the cd too.

Afternoon crafty bloggers. I've had a little spend here for some Promarkers last weekend...5 Promarkers for £4.95 and No P&P.I think it was a special 'halloween' offer but they do get repeated so watch out. Could it get better??? Well I jumped at the chance to buy some skin tones which I've experimented with on todays card. This is the second time i've ordrered from them and very swift delivery too...thanks to a very kind crafty blogger who introduced me to them! I'm sure 'll be ordereing again to make up my Promarker collection. Here i've a freebie digi image from Nutcrafters...so delighted to see this as it's been a while since i saw something which resembles Bonfire Night...lovely to colour in, digi papers from a magazine website long time ago, heat embossed the sparkler and the fireworks with some old Personal Impressions powders but not sure it's entirely worked...sentiment from Elzybells, stapled on. Marianne creatables flower and leaf dies and pearls from stash.

Hi there, it's nearly the end of the week. Hope you're looking forward to the weekend...if you don't already know here in the UK we celebrate Bonfire Night on the 5th November. I'm sure there'll be plenty of fireworks lighting up the skies on Saturday night. Onto my creation which is using the digi printed straight onto my card blank, it's called 'love tree' from the fab Faith, sentiment is from Elzybells, coloured in with Promarkers, blended more on the tree, used some faux stitching around the card to bring it all together, finished off the bottom of tree with glamour dust and 3 butons from my stash.

Hi again, this creation is made with all digi's! Backing paper is from Donna, haunted house from Spyders Corner but unfortunately i can't credit her as it seems the blog no longer exists :( i hope that it isn't true...) the pumpkin and the tag with a black cat onit is from the very generous Marion who very kindly gives a way digi's 'thankyou'. Made some little bats which are attached to some strong strips of acetate. Those of you visit regularly will remember i had a mishap with another creation, the printer running lines across...so here we are again with the problem resolved with my white sakura pen, coloured with promarkers.

Good afternoon all. I've managed to make 2 creations today, one will come up after this one...but on here is 'milly...me and my dog' from LOTV, super super image and I'm fast approaching to making these my 'first choice' in the stamps I'm picking up to stamp with...fabby papers from old Kaboodle Doodle d/loads, strip across is scrap from Summer Driggs d/loads, various stamped sentiments from Elzybells, See D's and freebie from mag.Coloured with Promarkers, added some glamour dust to Milly's hair, found a brad in bottom draw, old charm from my daughters old trousers. Lots of layering going on here which is unlike me and I'm keeping this one for extra special person in my stash box and also it's a very large card i can give by hand!

Happy Saturday all! It's a creation from House Mouse called Finding Friendship JR 1070 today. Love this cute image, the gruffie bear looks like he's reminding the little squirrel of his special day doesn't he? Stamped with walnut stain disitress ink, used some recent d/load autumnal paper from Funky Hand and an old scrap strip from another card recycled. Coloured with Koh-i-noor pencils, found some twine and a large button for embellishments.

Hi all! Normally Thursday is Faith's digi challenge day for me but this week the challenge has been extended so I'll post that creation within the next week... lovely jubbly...here is my 2nd creation for the Sugar bowl challenge using Leann ellis 'mermaid' stamp. Kids love mermaids don't they especially little girls. Gorgeous freebie d/load paper from the lovely Donna, corner stamp is by Stempelglede, sentiment from See D's stamps. Coloured with Promarkers, used some leaf dies from Marianne Creatables comes with 2 flower ones too! Made my own flower with a piece of ribbon and added a charm.

Afternoon. Hi...hope you're all well. We've got rain after the dry blustery spell yesterday and yes the gardens could do with it. So onto my card which is for a couple of challenges I've missed out on recently. This stamp image is from Sugar Nellie Leanne Ellis design' mermaid' stamped straight onto card as is the sentiment and a few flourishes, coloured with Promarkers, litle bit of glamour dust and finished off with a heart gem.

This card is for 5 challenges namely Simply Less is Moore 'polka dots' (hope the embossing counts if not feel free to disqualify), Sugar Bowl which is a fab sketch, Crazy 4 'one layer cas', One Stop Craft ' no DP' as is Crafty Sentiments. Happy beginning of the week all! Today I've gone with Emma's digi witch with Faith's frame tag and pumpkins...i fiddled about and came up with is,she lloks as if she's standing in the distance doesn't she, used some odds and ends of scraps from d/loads, Marianne Creatabbles dies for flower and leaves. There's so many Halloween themed challenges out in blogland so this may be my last card on that theme. Happy Saturday! I thought of getting another boy creation in for some challenges mainly 2nd entries. Used a fab runner up win from The Poodles Parlour 'thankyou!', 'digi by Saffie from The Digi garden' called Chester with christmas star but i think he'll do very nicely for autumn too, cute image and wonderful to colour in with Promarkers, fantastic papers from Anice over at Funky Hand ( I think i should have entered this one into their challenge...you're only allowed to enter once in that one i think, never mind), distressed the papers with my sewing machine unpicker, made a wooden looking post out of recycled card from the grocers, used this fab stamp sentiment that i use alot now from Personal Impressions, ric-rac from the market.

Another fine day. It's been a clear dry day...enough to gather up the plant pots for next year from the back garden. Today i've made a card for the Wild Rose studio challenge who are having a blog hop to celebrate their newest release. Fabby i do love hops!!!i used their own Milton stamp, papers are from Funky Hand d/loads and it's also for their monthly challenge. Hope you like this one...had to chop off the top corners with decorative scissors as they had been bent and creased by something heavy on the pack of blanks, but i think i got a use out of it now!

Good evening to you all! I had this card made a couple of days ago but the weather changes seem to have that 'ill feeling effect on me' but never mind...i think i've missed the challenges it was intended for and i'll still enter for a few. Created my own template to fit in an A6 enevelope so it's fairly small but I've managed to fit all the elements i wanted on there. This beautiful image is part of a lovely set from Nutcrafters called 'pink frosting' (won on their fab blog, many thanks!' The large cupcake, cherry and sentiment is part of the set too and there's lots more still. Coloured with Promarkers, old digi papers from Kaboodle Doodles (love these and used so many times on my past projects), gingham ribbon from Crafty Ribbons, flowers from Marianne Die cuts, leaves too, card candy for the middles. Paper piecing on the large cupcake and strips of strong acetate to create that floating effect.

Hi again...there's a story with a bit of a mishap behind this card...I made it yesterday using the fab papers from Polka doodles cd sprinkles of kraft, same paper from the same printed off sheet remnants...everything was made up, went to photograph it, looked once at the pics and then a second and third time only for them all to reveal a lilac line running across several times, wasn't evident to my naked eyes or maybe i need specs. These fab digi cameras show it all!!! So since yesterday i've been pondering away, shall i scrap the whole thing, replace the backing paper by taking off and bending all the little pieces....no, no, no...get the white sakura pen and draw in a wiggly line over the nasty print lines. There we have it!!!

I used my new Martha Stewart fence punch (prize from Simon Says Stamp from the Creative Card Crew win...'many thanks'), brown is from my grocers from the 'banana box', image is ofcourse LOTV w/coloured, some glamour dust added, couple of stamped sentiments, ribbon from Crafty Ribbons, love these thin gingham ones.

Another age card for my stash box. Hi the last card i made using this LOTV 'emma shoes' was so well received that i made another one but this time a 21st! I love her trying on the variety of shoes and its so 'us' females isn't it...coloured with Promarkers and glamour dusted, paper from the lovely and generous Donna (bearly mine), various marianne die cuts and hand punches used here.

Hi it's already October and we're in a bit of a daze with the weather and what it's doing at the moment. Again we've had the most gorgeous summery hot day, wonderful if your a heat/sun lover...me I'd rather stay in the cool! This is a gorgeous digi image from Polka Doodles CD Sprinkles of Kraft (think that's what it's called) coloured with Promarkers, 2 digi papers and the numbers from there too, ribbon from Crafty Ribbons, i cut out individual flowers then popped onto small foam square for dimension, the numbers are on strips of acetate and they wobble!!!

Inside...stamped sentiment from American crafts and few small cut out flowers in the lower corner.

Another glorious day! Wow...the temperature has really gone up today and you can feel it...hot, hot, hot. To my card for today it's another of Faith's fab digi images. If you not been over to Designed 2 Delight then you've been missing the progressive challenge blog which means you get a freebie image each week to play in the next week and you get to keep the images. Faith is very generous with her images and they mostly come with super sentiments in lovely fonts. Go and have a try, it's very addictive. Digi is called 'autumn mums' and comes with the sentiment which I've placed on it separately, coloured with Promarkers, used some recycled card, branch and flower die cut from Marianne Creatables, stamped a border with stitch detail in walnut stain distress ink and stamped with an old Elzybells sentiment from the Fervour set.

Morning all and what a very ggooooood morning it is!!! It feels like 30 degrees celsius already...we are definitely having a heat wave and not a single cloud in the sky. I couldn't resist but make another card for Less Is More challenge blog using their easy sketch. Image is a stamp from Pink Gem Designs called Autumn Max (an old one now) coloured with promarkers and experimenting with layering colours ontop of each other. Sentiment is also a stamp but there was a 'happy accident' so the result was to put some grass and conkers there. hope you like and I'm entering into 5 in total mainly 2nd entries. Hi and a warm welcome to you all and especially my new follower 'thankyou for choosing to follow my blog'. Today I've got an easel card i keep meaning to make for a while now...not sure what these type are called...and I'm ashamed to say the digi image was d/loaded recently and i forgot to put the name of the blog and now when i returned to my fave blogs can't find it :( would love to credit the person so if anyone does know I'll amend and put the details in. The papers used are from the genreous Donna (bearly mine) and so perfect for my little offering today, the left panel is a digi sentiment from one of my fave blogs which is sadly no more The Creative Cottage, and I stamped with a clear ink pad with mini Studio G stamps and afterwards dusted off with some orange chalks, bright orange ribbon from the market some years ago stapled on, used my mini star punch, embossing folder for web design dusted off with glamour dust, image coloured with Promarkers.

Together they make a neat gift and i shall be giving it to a little girl this weekend. Birthday dreams do come true...especially if you're like this cute mousie dreaming after a belly full of sweetness! Love this image and has been well received by several of my recipients...it was part of a win from last years House Mouse celebrations but guess what they're having another one right at this moment and i wanted to enter to say I've not forgotten them and their scrummy yummy blog. It's been a while and every time i want to enter I've missed it and then forget to enter the next one...really no excuse since it's a fortnightly challenge. So this stamp is part of the HM 'Cake' sheet, sentiment is from Penny Black, coloured with my negelected Koh-i-noor pencils and blended after, bit of glamour dust for the icing, faux stitch border to bring everything together on this card.

Hello all, I'm back...didn't really go anywhere but just not had much time for crafting and I thought about how this digi would brighten anyone's day called 'happiness blooms' from Faith. Lovely papers from a Polka Doodles win from Nikky. Used some Marianne Creatables die cuts...absolutely love these, and leaves don't always have to be green do they? You'll find out further down why they are.

Nearly a week and no post. Hi all...things take priority in life but I've managed to make this card up just as i imagined in my little head. Used up some old scraps of card, acetate, sea-side stamps from i believe High Hopes, 'relax' from crafters companion Popcorn set and the rest of sentiment from American crafts stamps. The stripey huts are from d/load from Funky Hand. I want so much to take part in their challenges but by the time i get round to it i've just either got to be mega quick or just missed it. Never mind the funky sentiment on the outside is from there too!

Hi, hope all is well in blogland. I've got this wonderful digi image from Faith to show you...really nice for all those autumnal cards and it is really a Halloween image with several sentiments too but i needed to make a card to a little friend at Postpals who is need of some cheering up :)))) Stripey paper is from Shabby Princess d/loads and the leafy design from Pink Petticoat...so lots of layering which is not really me. Very good evening to all. The weather is changing quite rapidly with the leaves falling off the trees and gathering in any corner of the garden. Love it when the wind forms a nice pile for me to collect and bag up. Now onto my card which has this gorgeous Snowman Digi image from a new challenge blog i found called Jelly Park. Just a gentle stroke with Promarkers, very minimal colouring here but i hope my embellishments make up for it. Hand cut shape from a template, papers from long ago from QVC cut down for this card, lots of punches and dies used here...MS Doily Lace, X Cut snowflake, Marianne Dies Creatables flower and leaf, the seam binding is from Crafty Ribbons ( a part of a previous challenge item from them), sentiment from the computer and Card candy from QVC for the middles.

Happy Thursday! Today I found this digi image from Crafty Sentiments which was given away as a freebie at one time called 'pat sitting by the water', and is for their own challenge...they're having a new release with a blog hop too. Yippeeee, i love hops. Talking about hops Simon says challenges blog are having their very own Stamp-tember yearly hop...it started last year and i joined in then and i shall be joining in again this time round. So there are many exciting things happening in blogland and this card just says it all. Paper used here is from Kate Knight from the summer tropical pad given away with a mag, wonderful 'loud' colours in here, image coloured with Promarkers, sentiment from the lovely Paulette, made my own flowers by using 2 punches and adding a gem for the middles and leaf die cut by Marianne creatables.

Hi and what a long time it seems since I posted on here. Well i really thought I'd made enough boy cards for Post Pals but I realised I was one short (there are so many in September and most of them boys, so i think I set myself a real challenge there) i whipped one up using this digi image from Whoopsie Daisy. Linnie has the most lovely images on her blog and i do enjoy using them. The base card which looks rather like Kraft card is really some tough paper from my grocers (from the banana box) and makes brilliant cards. Used some red dotty scrap from Polka Doodles d/load froma previous card although you can hardly see it. The 'friend' is hand written by me, coloured with Promarkers and I doodled and added some worms !!!

Today my card is for Faith's challenge using the beautiful flowery digi image, wonderful to colour with my Promarkers. Paper is from kate Knight's Totally Tropical Summer papers that came free with a mag. Found some pink and lilac ric rac, made my own swirly 3d flower which sits on a Marianne Die cut flower.

I've pierced the edges with my sewing machine with no thread.

The flower die cut acts as a stopper to reveal what's on the inside...I made some pleats with a slim scrap of co-ordinating paper to hold my little gift card.

Evening all. I've a practical present to show you today...to go with a card i made a little while ago. I love making dinky handbags and they're always received very well. So this is from a template I've had long ago but there are plenty to find nowadays for free on various sites. I used papers from Bearly mine (Donna)...tried to fix everyhting on while it was flat, so less fiddling when i glued together the sides. Tag is a free stamp from a mag, charm from The Works, ribbon from stash so is the button hand sewn to keep it in place.

Inside...lined and with a pocket too (piece of card edged with scissors).

A bag has to have the all too important MONEY!!! in it.

And here they are together. I'll be finding a suitable box to place both items in with lots of tissue paper and big bow for a special person, not worried about postage as it will be given by hand.

For my second post today I've got Miss Ruby from Squiggle stamps. She's a wonderful freebie digi image from their website 'thankyou' and 'gothic' like so apt for those teens nowadays...their challenge calls for 'pink & black, option of lace'. I used 2 different papers both d/loads mix of The Creative Cottage which is sadly no more but will continue to use their fine papers and also old Kaboodle Doodles kit scrap along the bottom. Coloured with promarkers, black die cut flower, leaves too from Marianne Dies , brads from stash and a bit of scrap lace to finish off the corner! Hope you like.

Hi all! Today I've a creation for some 'anything but a card' challenges. I bagged up this yummy cupcake (a bit on the large side for me) in a normal card bag, sealed off the bottom to give it a nice base, made my own dp for the seal of the bag at the top using some Simon says stamps, used a wonderful mouse digi image from the challenge over at Designed 2 Delight from last week (girl one) to make a tag with sentiment for the inside. Used some thin width white ribbon from Crafty Ribbons to hold it in place. Delicious 'thankyou' treat!

Welcome to my blog once again. I couldn't believe Birthday Sundaes were having a blog hop and today was the last day so had to be quick...the theme is 'cakes & cupcakes' and must have the 'birthday' wording somewhere. Thank goodness I'd already coloured some images of cupckaes from Simon says stamps. I use these cupcakes alot to finish off cards that just need a little something sweet!!! Hi, this card couldn't wait till tomorrow. It's for Flutter by Wednesdays using their fab sketch rotated clockwise once and ofcourse a special lady had a lovely digi image of a group of fairies that I was looking for...'thankyou' Paulette for your kind freebies! Paper is from Far Far Hill freebie and to me it looks like a magnolia flower but i could be wrong??? Coloured with Promarker, sky blended with pencils. Found some cream large width lace I bought years ago.

Afternoon all and at last we've got rain!!! It's no surprise how cool it is now, yippee...it was so unbearable as we don't seem to have the sunny weather long enough to get used to it in the UK, and then we get the long dreary miserable days too after a heatwave but that's life, you've got to take the rough with the smooth , hope that's right ;))). Onto my card for Faith who was so generous to give a voucher last week to choose an image from the fab store. I chose this one that comes with sentiments too but I chose to stamp a friendship on from one of my old See D's. Paper is an old d/load froma papercraft magazine couple of years back.

Evening all! Summer is well and truly here to stay, it's getting so hot and very unbearable...so crafting is all i can do. This is my entry for Lili Of the Valley challenge which is a sketch this week (I'm sure I'll be joining in often now), my image is the lovely 'emma shoes' from 'here come the girls' range and I love them so much and finding them so easy to colour. This is one i bought when I was using my voucher and decided to spend a few pennies on some other images too. She is an adorable illustration depicting just what us girls do...decisions, decisions..which colour shall I go for...flat or heels!!! Fabby paper is from Donna 'thankyou', blooms and butterfly charm from The Works. The pink ribbon has shades running through it, have had it a long time, maybe the sun got to it, not sure but I like it! :))

When opened, the stopper for this type of card is the sentiment from old See D's stamps raised onto foam squares, tiny strip of offcut ribbon attached.

Hi again, it's much too hot to be going out anywhere, it's so humid that I'm begging for some rain! So instead i thought i'd show you the end result of my template from earlier post today. If you click on it, it enlarges to give the measurements clearly... (post down from this one), I used 'celebrating Chloe', a really fun image perfect for anyone young or old. Coloured with Promarkers, flowers froma couple of candies 'thankyou', sentiments are Simon Says own stamps and ofcourse i couldn't forget the really pretty design paper from Trudy 'thankyou Trudy'.

Hi and welcome to my blog, no card as yet but as promised a little while ago here's a Center Step Card Template done my way (from a half sheet of A4 which is approx 21cm x 14.8cm). I'm sorry I'm no techno person really so it's all handwritten! It's how I make mine as I don't like to make my cards big, so it might not suit everyone but I hope there's someone out there who'll like to try it...there's details of the mountain folds and the valley ones and you can always adjust the side bits if you want them thinner or wider, I just hope you can see the measurements I normally use. Top tip is to score on the back of your design paper. I printed some lovely patterned design from the lovely Trudy 'thankyou' and will be off to find an image to put on there. Another lovely digi image from Faith. This one really makes me think i could do with some cooling off as there is a mini heat wave suppose to last until the weekend!!! Help...but all is not lost as we can always go indoors and craft ;)) No designer papers used at all, a little bit of snwoflake embossing on the pink, some odd bits of trim and ribbon used, punched snowflake, holy & ivy is a border free with a mag, sentiment is stamp from Crafters Companion, coloured with Promarkers and finished with a little dusting of Glamour Dust. My first 'joy fold' card. I hope it is any way...when I first saw Faith's image for this week I knew which paper I wanted to use. It's a freebie from Far Far Hill, wonderful just what I needed! There's great vintage d/loads there worth taking a peek at. So onto my card 'Peacock', absolutely love these beautiful elegant birds and their amazingly coloured feathers, evryhting on here is straight forward, green binding from Crafty Ribbons, die cut base flowers finished off with cream paper flower and button. Coloured with mix of few Copics and Promarkers.

Welcome to another post from me today...there's one below if you'd like to check it out. Hi, it's the middle of the week and I've only had the chance to use one of those cute girly images from the last release from Lili Of The Valley range 'here come the girls', this one is Milly me and my dog. Super impressions and was part of a win from the Ideas to Inspire blog a little while ago. When i went shopping with my voucher, i couldn't resist the yumminess there and bought some extra stramps, fab service and i am smiling ear to ear!!! A card for Sparkle's challenge. Hi all, this is such an adorable, easy to colour image from Sparkle's illustrator 'celebrating Chloe' (and a fab win thankyou) and she's enjoying christmas celebrations, comes with 3 balloons, I masked off the one at the top but guess what she's still holding 3 strands ( oh well a lesson for next time), colored with Promarkers and I used a couple of colours from my win over at Pollycrafts 'thankyou so much', hand cut out shape using my inexpensive scallop scissors. Papers are a mix from old Kaboodle Doodles and Pink Petticoat, tag sentiment stamp free with mag.

Hi everyone, today my creation is for Faith's challenge using the delicious 'strawberries' digi image, I'm always eager to use these freebies as, many a time my cards seem to fall into place very quickly and come together quite well. Red gingham is d/load from Creative Cottage now sadly closed down, the green is a d/load scrap, used my inexpensive scallop scissors along the bottom, sentiment from Personal Impressions stamp, gate is actually the back of the stable doors from Nikky's Polka Doodle Back to nature cd (love these cd's to bits, and now have quite a few wins of them), red flourish die cut from Spellbinders, ribbon from Crafty Ribbons, everything else from stash...now you might be thinking where are those strawberries???

Behind the garden gate...coloured with Promarkers and frosted lightly with glamour dust...yummy, yummy...don't they look delicious!

Hi, today I've a bright and wacky card. Image is a digi as are the sentiment letters from Nikky's latest cd 'Double Sprinkles Of Kraft'...I won in their 3rd birthday and hop challenge so a big 'thankyou' and is packed with lots of ideas for very lovely creations. The backing papers are from very long ago when i entered blogland and couldn't stop printing off sheet and sheet loads except onto normal copier paper...tut, tut. tut, no wonder my printer ink needed changing so often but not any more, I learnt my lesson but keep finding these printouts tucked away in file pockets.

Hi crafty bloggers, we're into a wonderful Friday. Today this creation is for Sir Stampalot and 5 challenges in total using the same paper as the post below from Donna, loving this freebie and goes so well with this Penny Black image from 'hugs' set. I made this step card from half an A4 sheet so it must be A5 and is quite a small card, coloured with Koh-i-noor pencils. I might post some instructions on here later to give an idea of the proportions. Lovely fabric flowers from Jo's candy and sentiment from Pink Gem. Other challenges entered are Penny Black friends 'desert island stamp'...never mind about the one stamp, I'd take the full sheet as it's so versatile and plenty of this daisy printouts. Allsorts challenge is 'free & easy in July', Penny Black at allsorts 'flower power' and it's their 1st Birthday so 'Happy Birthday to you!' and Fuzzy Wuzzy is 'punchy' and I used my MS Doily Punch. Good evening and a Happy Canada Day to all who are celebrating today! I've got a House Mouse image from the 'Cake' stamp sheet to show, coloured with Promarkers, I kept adding colours to the lily pad until I achieved the look I wanted...alot of blending in between too. The background cherry paper is from the generous Donna, i printed to an A5 size, the cherries you see at the top are made with Spellbinders Impressabitlites, then coloured in with promarkers and glossed over with Anita's 3D gloss, fab ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and sentiment from Personal Impressions from a QVC set.

Tropical Summer. Is that what has been happening for the last week or so? Well I'm a bit relieved to see some down pours today but the digi image called 'tropical summer' used on todays card depicts all the fabby weather we had. Thankyou Faith for this, i believe it's a Hibiscus flower, comes with the frame and wording, and other loose ones to decorate as you wish. As schools draw to a close to give the fantastic teachers a well deserved rest this is just what you could give, a lovely treats box with one of these beautiful flowers on top would be great! The paper is from a cd Paper Boutique Creative Christmas from Amanda 'thankyou' from the Allsorts birthday bash some time ago. I printed on to spotty paper and then another onto plain to colour and cut out individual parts. Stamp sentiment from American Crafts. Coloured with Promarkers.

Welcome to a very hot Monday. The air is so very warm you could mistake it for the Carribean! Well ofcourse it's not lasting it's suppose to be thunderstorms soon, so I thought as the sky is turning a little grey I better get this creation on here...another male card using exactly the same papers as my last one below. Afternoon all. Well, we're getting the much needed rain for our gardens and it's great that I can potter round early in the morning and then the rain can do its bit later. Fabby! That really brings me into my creation of a new home card and gift. It's a pot planter where I've just placed a mock plant which is really an inexpensive pen to show you...the template came from the Fab n Funky challenge blog by Creations by Ar.com. I tied it together with some pink braid. Gorgeous I love it and will defintely use this one again. Those really pretty fluttery papers came from the Polka Doodles Sugar Birdies cd and so did the scallopped frame where I hand wrote the sentiment, and that amzing flower shape are my new Marianne Dies Creatables LR 0106 from my win over at Dream Valley challenge blog 'thankyou', and many thanks to Papermaze too, fab service. I know I'm going to use these a lot already! As you can see I printed on both sides of my card.

Happy Fathers Day to all dads, grandads, great grandads everywhere! I was going to give today a miss with cards but as no-one was up as early as I was, got to do more crafting. So this beautiful image is a digi from Card Mad Fairys (won a little runner up prize) Molly Mermaid...what a joy it was to colour her in with my Promarkers. Papers are digi offcuts, used a new stamp Basic Grey Journal Flourish for the actual sentiment frame (I won at Sir Stampalot 1st birthday hop) 'thankyou' and used its flourish bits for my corners...the actual sentiment is American crafts, there's punches used and dry embossing too!

It's Friday and the weekend is here. I wanted to enter the Penny Black # this week but didn't really have any suitable male themed guys stamps but is now on my wish list...so I adapted my stamps from the Hugs set, hedgy normally holds a bouquet, the balloons are from the mousey showering flowers from his basket in the sky, i stamped them 3 times. Paper is a d/load from Summer Driggs, die cut is baby face dies, used some really old punches today (the swirl and the star). Inside sentiment from Popcorn the bear set. Doesn't hedgy look a little curious...

Hi, today my creation is a shaped one, hand cut by me. Again I've used a navy hammered cardstock for my base, used Nikky's fab freebie d/load from their 3rd birthday party last week. Image is coloured with my koh-i-noor pencils, a Popcorn the Bear stamp from Crafters Companion that I bought a few years ago now, they are in a box under my desk and keep forgetting to use them and now's a perfect time, sentiment comes with it too! I placed a strip of navy ribbon, button aswell on this one. Hope you like...there's lots of challenges with the theme of Father's Day/ Male coming up this Sunday so I'll list them below.
